Responsibilities
- Perform product inspection and/or audits of quality assurance in the production line, restaurants, events etc
- Perform packaging line and manufacturing inspection
- Sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials
- Ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products to meet company standards
- Minimize down-time by reducing production re-work and recalls
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Food & Beverage Services Management, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent
- Relevant experience in Food & Beverage industry is an advantage
- Required skill(s): Computer Skill, MS Excel, MS Word
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent
- Comfortable to handle administrative work, HACCP / ISO22000 or other Food Safety Audits

The Role
In charge of day‐to‐day inspection of in-process and finished products.
Ensure hygiene standard of process workers and processing facilities are maintained.
Responsible for reporting any non‐conformance of products/process/hygiene violation in a timely manner.
Assist in guiding production leaders/operators in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement in production area.
Ensure proper records of product and hygiene inspections.
Implementation/maintenance of SFA, MSC/ASC, Halal, FSSC 22000, HACCP certifications and any other relevant certification.
To liaise with authorities (eg, SFA) on related Food Safety / License issues when required.
In charge of health certificate application and laboratory reports arrangement and maintenance of such records.
Ideal Profile
Minimum Diploma in Food Science/microbiology.
At least 2 years’ experience as QA/QC in Food Manufacturing industry.
Understanding
FSSC 22000/ HACCP/GMP/ Halal requirements
is advantageous.
