Job Overview
This is a hands-on role combining research, recipe testing, kit packing, and teaching. You'll help develop new class offerings, prepare materials, and lead weekend classes for young children and their parents. You'll alternate between two work schedules each month to support our busiest times.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, test, and document new baking recipes for kids' classes and DIY kits
- Prepare and pack class kits and ingredients according to recipes and packing lists
- Teach baking classes on weekends, guiding children and parents through step-by-step activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and packing area
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Track inventory and report low stock or supply needs
- Support ongoing quality control and help improve our curriculum
Work Schedule
Alternated Monthly (A-B-A-B):
4 weekdays + 1 weekend per week (Week A)
3 weekdays + 2 weekends per week (Week B)
Requirements
- Home baking experience or strong interest in baking (formal certification not required)
- Ability to read and follow English recipes and instructions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10kg
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
