What you'll do

  • Ensure accurate inventory valuation, reconciliation, and analysis, including Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and work order variance analysis.
  • Perform product margin analysis and collaborate with Operations and the Site Controller to address costing and margin issues, providing scenario analysis to support decision-making.
  • Deliver monthly P&L analysis, quarterly flux analysis, and quarterly reporting packages.
  • Lead the annual inventory reserve exercise and coordinate year-end inventory counts with external auditors.
  • Manage the rolling forecast and annual budget preparation processes.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience, with strong exposure to manufacturing or product costing.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis and standard cost setting.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical and business partnering skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Month end close activities unique to Carrier Voice Product.
Partner and support Product BU in the billing and settlement aspects of commercial business deals and initiatives
Billing and Settlement Operations
Assist in the settlement of international telecommunications Voice services with overseas carriers.
Handle billing and verification of invoices and statements received from overseas carriers.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and overseas carriers to resolve rates/ traffic discrepancies.

What you’ll do:
Perform customer credit checks, establish credit lines, and monitor customer risk in compliance with company policies.
Lead monthly AR reviews with project managers and sales teams, proactively manage collections, and resolve receivable issues.
Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Handle GST filings, reconciliations, and withholding tax computations in compliance with statutory regulations.
Manage fixed assets accounting, including asset creation, capitalization, depreciation, impairment, retirement, and disposals.
Monitor Construction-in-Progress (CIP) assets and ensure timely capitalization.
Perform general ledger activities including journal postings, reconciliations, and month-end closing (HFM, intercompany, schedules).
Submit accurate weekly cashflow forecasts and support Corporate Treasury.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, group policies, and internal controls, supporting internal and external audits.
Contribute to automation, process improvement, and system enhancement initiatives.
Uphold data integrity principles and continuously improve financial processes.
What we’re looking for:
Degree in Accountancy or equivalent; CPA/CA qualification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience across AR/AP, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of statutory regulations, audit requirements, and financial compliance.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP; Hyperion experience is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable with a results-driven mindset.
