We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in providing critical financial market insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting and consolidating data from various systems, pre-processing raw data to support validation and analysis, and collaborating with operations teams to understand the root causes of corrections.

• Analyze user correction logs by identifying trends and patterns in ClearTrade and vendor system data.
• Pre-process large datasets by document type and field to enable deeper analysis and validation.
• Work closely with operations teams to diagnose the underlying causes of corrections and develop recommendations for improvement.
• Classify corrections into categories such as necessary for machine learning training or unnecessary for potential rule improvements.
• Present findings in clear, actionable formats to vendors and users, ensuring effective communication and feedback.

This is a 6 months contract position where you will be working as a data analyst in a banking environment.

You will be responsible for handling enrichment works to the data warehouse to ensure data usability.

The role also involves participating in IS projects involving data to ensure integration and linkage to existing systems.

You will work hand in hand with IT/Business units on IS related projects to gather system requirements and involve in system testing for implementation.

Gathering and documenting business/regulatory information needs and preparing Business Requirement Specification Documents to consolidate the required data from various sources is also a key responsibility of this role.

Investigating and rectifying data collected to facilitate quality data for downstream analysis and applications is another important task of this position.
