Job Scope:

As a Financial Data Intern, you will support the Finance team in managing and organising financial data to ensure accurate reporting and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will involve data preparation, cleansing, automation using Excel VBA, and analysis, as well as assisting with administrative and document management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data sanitisation and validation to ensure data accuracy
  • Compile and consolidate financial data from various sources for reporting

This role supports the Group Finance Cost analytics team's financial analysis through data visualization, automation, and MIS reporting. It requires proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and visualization tools, particularly Tableau, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of key financial insights. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders to develop and refine strategic dashboards.

Key Responsibilities (What does the job do?)

This role includes a mix of BAU monthly financial analytics support (e.g. variance computation), as well as development & maintenance of MIS tools and processes, incl. new dashboards and visualizations.

Proficiency in tableau and basic coding skills (Python/ SQL in data extraction/ joins and basic processing) are necessary, while having experience in data engineering is advantageous.
