We are seeking an experienced Analyst to join our team in the T&M Credit Derivative Business Control group. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily, monthly, and ad-hoc deliverables relating to P&L reporting, trade monitoring, control processes, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce daily P&L reports and perform P&L decomposition.
- Provide commentary on significant P&L drivers, linking them to business strategies.
- Monitor new deals, late deals, and market operations.
- Review transactions executed at off-market rates and provide justifications.
- Monitor exceptions for reported P&L vs. trader estimates, and identify breaches of threshold limits for unexplained P&L attributions.
- Reconcile P&L between management reporting and the general ledger.
- Perform GLAO certification on balance sheet accounts.
- Compute reserves at room-wide and desk level.
- Identify and report significant month-to-date (MTD) P&L drivers.
- Report key risk and performance indicators for the desks.
- Streamline workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Review control processes to identify and address gaps.
- Handle ad-hoc queries from Front Office, Risk Management Group (RMG), Treasury & Markets Operations (TMO), and Finance.
- Assist in responding to internal and external audit requests.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Banking, or Finance. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and excellent collaboration skills are essential. Knowledge of treasury products, derivatives, and options is preferred.
