Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize our network infrastructure. The position

Main responsibilities
To visit customer sites as directed to install, maintain, commission and repair power supply and related systems, including battery maintenance and swap-over.
Testing and replacing defect components in order to put the system into operation according to pre-defined standards.
Ensure timely, accurate and complete documentation relating to the site visits, including field service reports, expenses and overtime sheets.
Ensure compliancy with quality and safety requirements are met.
Confer with customers and third parties clarifying terms and conditions relating to the on-site activities.
To provide technical training and instructions to people on the customers site.
To ensure effective and efficient use of service repair equipment.
Keep track of necessary calibration or exchange of equipment.
Ensure health and safety measures are taken before entering the customers site.
To inform the customer about possible system improvements and coordinate follow up with the sales team.
Proactively sell customer services based on (suspected) customer needs, such as offering a maintenance contract if not yet in place or recommend an upgrade for products or parts which are overdue etc.
Qualifications and Requirements
Sufficient relevant experience in the repair to component level of electrical/electronic equipment in a field service role at least 4-5 years.
Experience with power electronic systems and related installation/ maintenance/ service procedures.
Willing to work on weekends and night shifts in order to ensure 24/7 hours availability to clients, according to planning schedule.
Travel time up to 80%.

Job Description

Responsible for service, IT and on-site support of RVM Systems reverse vending machines (RVMs).

It is an exciting role involving traveling, facing customers and multitasking between solving technical problems and issues, and communication with and education of customers on how to use reverse vending machines.

·    Prepare and configurate RVMs ready for delivery to sites

·    Install, service and maintain RVM at sites across Singapore e.g.

o    Complete first time installation

o    Carry out routine planned maintenance on RVMs

o    Attend equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, identify parts required and effect the repair

·    Ensure maximum performance of RVM Systems

·    Day-to-day tasks such as product management and specialization

·    Utilizing analytical skills to assess product performance

·    Communication with R&D to ensure the right product development

·    Effectively communicating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

·    Ensure all required documentation is completed in full and in the timely manner required

·    Ensure the Company polices and guidelines are adhered to at all times

·    Ensure our company equipment is kept secure at all times

Desired skills:


• IT education or relevant work experience.


• Intermediate-level Linux knowledge (CLI, networking, troubleshooting).


• Basic knowledge of computer networks.


• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and focus skills (reading log files and making changes to configuration files).


• Previous experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL (navigating, making changes via the command line).


• Ability to use a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical issues.

Bonus:


• Previous experience with a programming language (preferred: Java, Python).


• Previous experience with writing bash scripts.


• Experience in using and configuring API solutions.
