Field Operations Specialist Job Description

This role involves performing day-to-day operations at our tank farm and jetty area. The Field Operations Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and assisting in the operation of pipeline systems, inspecting equipment, and ensuring all tasks are completed according to company procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assist in the operation of pipeline systems, including inspection and maintenance of pipes, pumps, valves, and tanks.
• Carry out first-line maintenance tasks, such as replacing blinds, greasing valves, and oiling operational equipment.
• Assist in daily operations, including maintaining a clean and organized work site.

Requirements:

• Fresh graduates with a Diploma or Higher/Nitec degree in engineering disciplines are welcome to apply.
• Willingness to perform outdoor fieldwork is essential.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including alternate weekends off.
• Travel to offshore islands near Jurong Island may be required, with a monthly allowance provided.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit LiDAR Field Operator to support our high-precision mobile and terrestrial scanning projects. You will be part of an elite deployment team responsible for operating LiDAR scanning systems (MSL & TLS), capturing spatial data on-site, and ensuring all procedures are followed to the highest standard. This role involves frequent travel to locations across Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe (including Hungary), sometimes on short notice.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Mobile Scanning LiDAR (MSL) and Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) equipment in various field conditions
• Execute field work following strict SOPs and data acquisition protocols
• Handle equipment setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Work closely with project leads to ensure data quality and adherence to specifications
• Upload, transfer, and document field data securely after each scan
• Maintain clear communication with the technical and operations team
• Participate in project briefings, site checks, and safety procedures
• Be ready for frequent overseas travel based on project requirement.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to handle outdoor field work, equipment setup, and long work hours when required
• Comfortable working in small, mobile teams across varied urban or rural environments
• Must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driver’s license
• Able to commit to frequent travel (within APAC and Europe) for weeks at a time
