About the position
The Field Marketing Specialist is a key contributor to our APAC regional marketing team, assisting Field Marketing Managers in the development of marketing programs in alignment with sales pipeline development goals.
The Field Marketing Specialist, reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing APJ will be an organized, data-savvy person, and an integral part of the integrated APAC sales and marketing organization. This role will focus on planning, executing and reporting on regional in-person and virtual marketing programs. They will partner with the regional marketing managers to target high-value prospects via specific marketing activities, channel and alliance partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Support and provide ROI reporting on field marketing campaigns that drive to specific goals
- Assist Regional Marketing Managers by securing suitable venues for regional events, per event type and within assigned budget
- Manage supporting logistics for field events, including coordinating print & promotional items, supporting materials, shipping and receiving
- Manage onsite logistics (location, promo items, appointments), acting as primary point of contact for internal/external team.
- Manage external contractors, vendors and agencies for creative services, material manufacture and shipping and on-the-ground logistics
- Facilitate lead gathering and reporting by activity
- Building invites, registration pages, and lead flow into Salesforce to ensure excellent pre- and post-event results.
- Continually researching new event activities and providing recommendations to regional marketing team
Requirements
- 1-2 years field or generalist marketing experience
- University/college degree in marketing or communications-related fields is a plus
- Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Someone who understands the principles of ROI measurement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic nature of a tech start up and a willingness to get involved.

The role itself is key to the success of our Marketing team in APAC. THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Defining and executing the operational marketing plan for the strategic geographies in the APAC region aligned to the local sales objectives
- Manage the Demand Generation funnel in the region working very closely with the Demand Generation team and Sales Leaders to review Demand performance for the region, ensure MQLs are followed up, feedback on the level or appropriateness for the region and engaging with weekly review with sales leadership to manage the deliverables.
- Manage operations for internal and external events, online and physical (local kick offs, client, tradeshows, conferences, etc.)
- Support the delivery and in region amplification of the company's communication strategy.
- Work in close collaboration with the other teams of the marketing department to both implement and where appropriate propose a localized and relevant marketing campaigns.
- Develop supporting campaign assets and collaterals that are region-specific
- Analyze campaign and spot potential areas of improvement
- Conduct market and competition analysis for the region
- Manage marketing budget spend for APAC region

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
You will be the type of Field marketer who understands that
- 3–5 years' experience in B2B marketing, IT/software environment is a plus. The role will require the ability to set a Field marketing strategy and plans with the appropriate teams, but also work collaboratively to deliver on the tactics. This is a hands on role where the expectation is to be able to cover all aspects
- Business School degree or equivalent in Marketing
- Understanding and good knowledge of Inbound and marketing automation practices (Hubspot and 6Sense in particular or similar type solutions) and use of CRM (Salesforce)
- Manage multiple projects and meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, detailed-oriented, good problem-solving ability
- Autonomy and ability to work independently
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Languages: English (Fluent) other European Languages is a plus but not a necessity
· Ability to write content and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences
· Limited international travel required, so willingness to travel is important.
· This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Field Marketing Manager for our Asia GTM operation. As the Field Marketing manager for Asia you will report to Twilio’s VP of Marketing APJ and be responsible for driving marketing strategy across all areas of the funnel as well as partnering closely with sales to ensure pipeline creation and revenue goals are met.
Twilio is growing rapidly and Asia represents one of our key markers within the APJ region and this role will be responsible for helping design, scale and execute our demand creation activities with Asia. You’ll be working closely with the regional demand creation marketing team so you can leverage our global and regional GTM programs and campaigns to drive pipeline creation, acceleration, and closing engagements to ensure we are able to meet our pipeline and revenue goals.
The challenge
This key role will see you help lead our marketing teams entire Brand-to-Revenue GTM efforts in Asia and act as a key interlock point into our regional and global marketing teams. You’ll directly impact Twilio business success by partnering closely with regional marketing and the Asia field sales leadership to ensure quality of ToFU & MoFU leads flowing from our regional programs and campaigns is being achieved and maitained. You will also oversee the creation of MoFu and BoFu pipeline acceleration programs.
As an emerging leader, you are a creative and critical thinker, an adept communicator, and have the organisational skills to manage a variety of concurrently running projects and programs that will drive the business through thought leadership, sales opportunity generation, and overall sales and marketing.
You will help design, execute, manage, and track the success of a variety of Asia field marketing brand-to-revenue campaigns and programs including, but not limited to, PR and communication programs, digital marketing strategy, event marketing strategy, outbound prospecting campaigns and partner marketing programs.
Responsibilities
Twilio seeks a Field Marketing Manager who lives the Twilio Magic and has a track record of achievement in building and operating brand-to-revenue GTM programs. The desired individual will:
- Develop and manage field marketing programs to drive opportunity generation and pipeline acceleration including, but not limited to field marketing programs, joint field marketing events, digital events/activities, sales collateral, and outbound prospecting campaigns.
- Work cross-functionally with the APJ Demand Creation marketing HUB to ensure the Twilio go-to-market strategy and messaging aligns with field marketing programs.
- Prioritise market and segment needs leveraging data and identifying what is working and/or not working in current demand creation marketing plans. Understand product strategy and roadmap as well as sales needs for ensuring relevance and need when prioritising marketing campaigns, content, and activities.
- Lead the Asia Demand Creation Marketing plan as well as provide input into regional and global roadmaps for technical systems (such as a marketing tech stack) and Web Localisation always representing APJ customer and developer needs.
- Optimise Asia demand creation activities including, but not limited to: lead nurture programs, paid media, digital and physical events, account-based marketing, partner marketing programs, and outbound prospecting campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better targeting and improved processes.
- Work closely with regional PR, regional Demand Creation HUB, regional product marketing teams to ensure we’re delivering the right volume and quality of leads.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Operations team to manage our marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, content providers, and 3rd party vendors to execute and monitor marketing program performance.
- Analyse campaign, program and tactic performance of field marketing activities and establish a regular reporting & communications cadence with key stakeholders on Asia field marketing efforts.
- Serve as a marketing business partner to the sales organisation by gathering sentiments and feedback from the field to communicate back to corporate marketing.

Required:

- Excellent relationship, partnering, and collaboration skills, and experience working cross-functionally with a sales organization.
- Experience with account-based marketing programs.
- Have worked closely with an SDR/BDR team and understand how to support and accelerate them.
- Ability to analyze & interpret metrics around demand generation performance and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Ability to successfully implement new initiatives and projects.
- Proficient with marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce) tools.
- Familiarity with Twilio’s is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal and external teams in a decentralized work environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
- Native or business fluency in Mandarin (speaking and writing) is desired to work with the Mandarin speaking customers.

Your Impact
As a trusted leader and subject matter expert, you will:
- Strategic Advisory: Generate plans for countries including: Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines.
- Trusted Advisor: Build trusted relationships with key partners, customers and prospects through marketing campaigns.
- Thought Leadership: Establish Anaplan at industry events, in thought leadership opportunities, and through social media.
• Proven experience managing marketing programs with measurable success - 10+ years in Field Marketing roles
• Experience in high technology B2B enterprise software field marketing required; SaaS/on-demand software experience highly desired.
• Experienced in Account Based Marketing techniques and demonstrable ability to work with global cross-functional commercial teams to develop ABM programmes for key accounts
• Proven ability to think “big picture”; and use both traditional and modern marketing tactics to design effective programs
• Splash, CRM (Salesforce.com ) and Marketing Automation (Marketo) experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Analytical skills to identify ROI of marketing programs
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A hands-on approach — willing to roll up sleeves and make things happen.

THE ROLE:
A great opportunity to join a market leading company with clear product market fit and ambitious growth plans. We are looking to rapidly scale our Marketing team and the Field Marketing Manager role will be central to helping the business achieve our growth plans.
The role itself is key to the success of our Marketing team in APAC. You will be the voice of marketing to the sales team, and represent the feedback and the needs of the sales team back into the Marketing team.You will attend EMEA sales meetings and should expect daily interaction with the sales team members, with a heavy focus on Demand Generation and helping educate on the strategy and managing the impact in region.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Defining and executing the operational marketing plan for the strategic geographies in the APAC region aligned to the local sales objectives
- Manage the Demand Generation funnel in region working very closely with the Demand Generation team and Sales Leaders to review Demand performance for the region, ensure MQLs are followed up, feedback on the level or appropriateness for the region and engaging with weekly review with sales leadership to manage the deliverables.
- Manage operations for internal and external events, online and physical (local kick offs, client, tradeshows, conferences, etc.)
- Support the delivery and in region amplification of the company's communication strategy.
- Work in close collaboration with the other teams of the marketing department to both implement and where appropriate propose a localized and relevant marketing campaigns.
- Develop supporting campaign assets and collaterals that are region specific
- Analyze campaign and spot potential area of improvement
- Conduct market and competition analysis for the region
- Manage marketing budget spend for APAC region
Expereo Teams you will be working with:
- As part of the marketing team you will be working closely with the Demand Generation and the Communications team members of the team to
- A close relationship with the Regional Sales Directors and the Sales leadership in that team,
- The sales team themselves
- Finally, Expereo Management when preparing them for customer facing events and hospitality activity that takes place in your region.
External Companies you will be working with:
- Event organisers
- Hospitality companies
- Regional PR agency on an ad hoc basis
- 3–5 years’ experience in B2B marketing, IT/software environment is a plus The role will require the ability to set a Field marketing strategy and plans with the appropriate teams, but also work collaboratively to deliver on the tactics. This is a hands on role where the expectation is to be able to cover all aspects
- Business School degree or equivalent in Marketing
- Understanding and good knowledge of Inbound and marketing automation practices (Hubspot and 6Sense in particular or similar type solutions) and use of CRM (Salesforce)
- Manage multiple projects and meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, detailed-oriented, Problem-solving ability
- Autonomous and ability to work independently
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Languages: English (Fluent) other European Languages is a plus but not a necessity
- Ability to write content and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences
- Limited international travel required, so willingness to travel is important.
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
