I) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Brainstorm and research to create seasonal apparel collections based on market trends, targeted brands, and customer personas.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends, colors, fabrics, trims, technology, and other sports-related products through various ways of research and product usage experience.
- Manage the design process from conceptualize to final styling, incorporating new concepts and ideas into the final collection including designing and product development.
- Be accountable for the creative approach, defining and developing it to ensure successful collection development.
- Prepare and monitor moodboards, designs, sketches, and technical packs for collection development.
- Create initial design via sketches, virtual 3D or develop mock-up to ensure alignment with expectations.
- Assist in the preparation of CWS, product information through detailed drawings with accurate measurements and fabrics
- Ensure feasibility and precision in execution from initial development through bulk
- Demonstrate initiative, conscientiousness, and complete follow-through on areas of responsibility by reviewing and developing fitting prototypes and samples; effectively communicate necessary changes to the team
- Maintain close working relationships with the team and in-house production team to ensure seamless execution of designs, deliver high-quality output and updates on the status of samples
- Attend style fittings and provide input and feedback
- Work on technical measurements, conduct sampling, testing to ensure fit and quality and checking of all final pieces to ensure they are presentation-ready
- Prepare presentations and assist in set up of Spectrum and Concept presentations
- Communicate and present design concepts in a concise and professional manner
