To support this strategic vision, the hELIOS Business Competency Centre (hBCC) is seeking a L&H Data Integration Analyst based in Singapore.
This role will be responsible for supporting business users on treaty onboarding, data maintenance and data usage activities, in coordination with hBCC team members in other regions (Paris, London, Sydney).
Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities
The L&H Data Integration analyst maintain a pro-active relationship with hBCC internal clients (client administrator, actuarial staff, etc.) and is responsible for the following activities:
Treaty onboarding and maintenance
Analyze resinsurance treaties, product literature and policy data to configure the “reinsurance plans” (products, benefits, controls) in the hELIOS platform.
Examine client data (premium and claims bordereaux) to understand its structure and behaviour in the context of policy/claims processing and downstream usage in the Administration platform.
Define or review mappings document that specify how the bordereaux data should be transformed and mapped to the hELIOS standard format.
Develop solutions to process suboptimal cleint data, addressing issues relate to quality or completness.
Create, maintain and validate “packages” for automating client data recognition, data structureing and data transformations – primarily using a bespoke self-service data transformation tool (Data Engineering), or potentially a programming language such as Python.
Build strong cross-functional relationships with other teams to deepen understanding of data and transofmation requirements.
Business support
Assist end-users (e.g. Technical Accountants) in investigating data discrepancies identified during bordereaux processing, such as mismatches between premium bordereaux and statement of account figures.
Analyze root causes, collaborate on reconciliation efforts, and recommend corrective actions, including updates to data transformation packages to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Data Analysis and reporting
Support ad hoc analysis or reporting using SCOR’s data platform including Databricks and Palantir Foundry.
Develop an in-depth expertise in the hELIOS data model. Actively contribute to knowledge sharing across teams. This includes understanding the structure, relationships, and business logic embedded in the model, and effectively communicating insights to support data-driven decision-making, system integration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years in Life Reinsurance or Insurance, with a focus on operations or back-office functions.
Strong understanding of life insurance products and data transformation processes.
Technical skills:
Proficiency in data analysis and transformation.
Familiarity with SQL, Python, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, and VBA (preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented.
Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.

The Research Data Integration group in the Bioinformatics Institute (BII), A*STAR, aims to bridge the complexity of computational biology and data science with the hypotheses and findings of biologists and clinicians. One of our immediate challenges is to analyze, integrate and analyze multi omics, imaging and clinical data generated by biomedical institutes in A*STAR, healthcare institutions and national initiatives in Singapore in the areas of cancer, metabolic, eye and skin diseases. We seek motivated individuals to join us to push the potential of biomedical data in driving biological discoveries and create translational impact that benefits patients. Position summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Computational Scientist with expertise in artificial intelligence, multi omics data integration, and metabolic disease biology. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing AI/ML frameworks to integrate and analyze high dimensional biological datasets (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, imaging) with clinical data to identify novel mechanisms, biomarkers, and therapeutic targets in metabolic diseases such as MASLD/MASH and obesity. This position offer the candidate an opportunity to work closely with a diverse and collaborative team of computational and experimental scientists, and clinicians on cutting edge research at the intersection of AI and human health, and drive translational impact in metabolic diseases.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement AI/ML models to analyze and integrate multi omics and clinical datasets related to metabolic disorders.
Collaborate with biologists and clinicians to generate testable hypotheses from integrated datasets, and contribute actively to laboratory validations and screening studies through analytical findings.
Design pipelines for preprocessing, normalization, and harmonization of heterogeneous data types.
Apply and develop novel computational methodologies to uncover disease mechanisms.
Drive biomarker discovery, patient stratification, target identification using machine learning approaches.
Build a database integrating and linking multi dimensional clinical and multi omics data for metabolic diseases.
Develop visualizations and dashboards to communicate complex data insights to interdisciplinary teams.
Stay up to date with emerging computational techniques and tools in systems biology and AI.
Drive high impact scientific publications, patent filings, presentations and grant proposals.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Systems Biology, or a related field.
Strong background in programming and AI/ML (e.g., deep learning, ensemble methods, graph based learning, agentic AI, explainable AI).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R; experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit learn.
Demonstrated experience in integrating and analysing complex multi omics datasets (e.g., RNA seq, WGS, proteomics, GWAS).
Highly experienced with Unix/Linux environment and/or cloud architecture.
Solid understanding of metabolic disease biology and relevant clinical phenotypes.
Experience working with large scale multi dimensional datasets from biobanks, cohorts, or clinical trials.
Track record of peer reviewed publications in computational biology or bioinformatics.
Experience in a cross functional, collaborative environment in academia or industry.
Knowledge in data security, data standards and interoperability, and reproducible research practices.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to details.

As a key team member within the HIG HBM Product Engineering Advanced Data Analytics team, you will be spearhead and develop a high-performing team to drive initiatives that significantly enhance yield and quality through advanced data analysis, machine learning, and AI. Your responsibilities will include developing cutting-edge algorithms, creating robust product disposition solutions, and establishing a proactive deviation alert system for yield and quality, enhancing data infrastructure, mentor team members, and fostering innovation to maintain a competitive edge. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams within and outside of HBM to achieve both strategic and tactical objectives, continually maximizing the effectiveness of the HIG HBM PE organization, focusing on critical KPIs such as quality, cost, cycle time, and scale.
Key Responsibilities
Cumulative Yield Ownership: Be a key member of cross-functional teams, to lead impactful initiatives that significantly enhance overall yield and quality improvement, driving substantial benefits for the organization.
Data Analysis for Yield Improvement and Reliability: Utilize in-house statistical tools, machine learning, and AI for engineering data analysis to enhance yields and reliability, integrating these improvements within the Dispo workflow.
Models/Algorithm Development: Develop state-of-the-art algorithms, including Machine Learning and Deep Learning models, to advance data mining and pattern recognition for quality enhancement, yield improvement, wafer/die level screening and efficiency enhancement.
Product Disposition Solutions: Develop, validate and deploy product-disposition solutions (wormhole) to ensure quality and reduce Defects Per Million (DPM) through a comprehensive product disposition program/workflow.
Deviation Alert System: Create a deviation alert system to monitor yield loss, characteristic/parameter trends, and wafer/die/cube shading.
Data Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with IT, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to develop and enhance the data infrastructure pipeline using cloud technologies to support reliability and engineering assessments.
Mentorship and Development: Actively mentor and develop team members to foster growth and development within the team and the organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various cross-functional teams, including Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams, to ensure the holistic development and successful shipping of end products.
Promotion of Innovation: Promote innovation and drive changes that provide a technical advantage over competitors, maintaining the company's competitive edge in the market.
AI/ML Advocate: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, deploy, and validate AI/ML models aimed at enhancing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Quality, Cost, Cycle Time, and Scale.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
At least 10 years of experience in data analytics/science industry. Experience in Micron Product Engineering or the semiconductor industry is preferred.
Proven experience in leading analytic projects from conception to completion.
Demonstrate strong leadership and technical skills with a deep understanding of data analytics, data extraction, and analysis tools such as JMP, Tableau, and Power BI.
Highly proficient in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques, including extensive experience with libraries such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and web application languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
Excellent communication skills to present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven track record of collaborative work within/across teams to address sophisticated business and engineering problems.
Dedicated and highly motivated with a flexible approach towards adapting to different roles in a dynamic working environment (from leading the team to leading technical programs).
Experience in mentoring and coaching team members to develop their skills and advance their careers.
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability towards assigned role with professional work ethic.
Work on site in Singapore with international travel to Taiwan.
