**ABOUT THE ROLE**
CBRE ESG Consulting & Sustainability Service provide bespoke consulting and advisory services for our clients (private sector, public sector and NGOs) on their ESG Journey. We provide services such as Strategy creation and implementation, Net Zero / decarbonisation, Green, smart and healthy certifications, GRESB, benchmarking and general sustainability advisory. We work alongside our clients, helping shape corporate strategy inline with climate risk and resilience, embedding sustainability priorities and metrics across organisations operations and enhancing long term value creation by integrating ESG principles into business practices.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
+ Make an impact on how our clients do business, through sustainability strategy, programmes and reporting
+ Successfully contribute to multiple projects across several business areas at a time, within budget and meeting deadlines
+ Work with a wide variety of sustainability frameworks to conduct analysis, develop recommendations, and create appropriate deliverables
+ Deliver high quality work, meeting and exceeding client expectations
+ Conduct research on sustainability related topics
**WHAT YOU WILL NEED**

+ Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following tools and methods: data analysis; policy evaluation; market analyses; cost-benefit analysis
+ Experience in a consultancy or in a customer-facing commercial environment
+ Experience in real estate, building energy management and/or carbon assessment
+ Fluency in other Asian languages e.g. Mandarin Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia etc

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager – ESG will be responsible for leading the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the organization's ESG strategy. The role requires strategic thinking, strong stakeholder engagement, regulatory awareness, and analytical depth to drive measurable ESG performance across the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic ESG Leadership

  • Develop and refine the ESG strategy in alignment with corporate goals.

  • Lead materiality assessments and stakeholder consultations.

Risk & Governance

  • Support the integration of ESG risks into the enterprise risk management framework.
  • Advise senior leadership and the board on ESG trends and regulatory developments.
  • Establish governance frameworks and policies aligned with ESG best practices.

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor cross functional team members.
  • Promote ESG awareness and training across the organization.
  • Accountable for program deliverable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, SDGs, ISSB, etc.)
  • Proficiency in ESG data platforms, dashboards, and tools
  • Program management knowledge is compulsary

Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Finance, or related field.

  • Collaborate closely with contractors, EMMP consultants, and specialists to ensure effective environmental compliance, serve as the primary company contact for EMMP matters, and prepare detailed monthly Environmental Performance Reports (EPR).
  • Deliver regular biodiversity awareness training to construction personnel, develop method statements and risk assessments for monitoring activities, and support the EMMP team with project execution and other environmental sustainability initiatives.

What can you bring to the team?


Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

  • Candidates must be a NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) or currently in the process of obtaining this certification.
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours at construction sites.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply as relevant training will be provided.
  • A Diploma or Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental & Water Technology, Environmental Science, Environmental Biology, or other related qualifications will be considered.
