Diversity is at the core of everything we do. We work together to create a culture based on respect, trust, and inclusiveness. Our differences are what fuel our creativity.

What will you do?

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Environmental Consultant (Environmental Control Officer) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Environmental Management & Monitoring Plan (EMMP) at various construction sites. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced professionals and fresh graduates interested in making a positive impact on the environment.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

  • Conduct daily and bi-weekly site inspections and audits to ensure strict adherence to Environmental Management and Monitoring Programme (EMMP) requirements at construction sites.
  • Oversee and coordinate monthly environmental monitoring activities including fauna, flora, arboriculture, water and air quality, noise, and vibration measurements performed by contractors.
  • Manage the implementation and operation of the Information Management System (IMS), monitoring real-time environmental data from ECM and noise meters to promptly identify and address non-compliance issues via dedicated apps.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors, EMMP consultants, and specialists to ensure effective environmental compliance, serve as the primary company contact for EMMP matters, and prepare detailed monthly Environmental Performance Reports (EPR).
  • Deliver regular biodiversity awareness training to construction personnel, develop method statements and risk assessments for monitoring activities, and support the EMMP team with project execution and other environmental sustainability initiatives.

We know today’s complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets.
