Key Responsibilities
Maintain active coverage of ~15–25 Singapore-listed companies across sectors such as Consumer, TMT, Industrials, Financials, and Energy/Materials.
Build and maintain detailed financial models, applying valuation techniques (DCF, SOTP, DDM, scenario analysis).
Monitor policy, macroeconomic, and regulatory developments in Singapore (e.g., MAS/SGX) and assess their impact on valuations and earnings.
Publish clear Buy/Sell/Hold recommendations and thematic reports on Singapore market trends.
Conduct primary research, including expert calls, surveys, and company visits.
Integrate ESG considerations into investment research and analysis.
Requirements
At least 8 years’ relevant experience in equity research, ideally with prior exposure to Singapore equities.
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills; proficiency with Bloomberg/Refinitiv/FactSet or similar platforms.
Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; CFA progress/qualification is an advantage.
Completion of CMFAS Modules 6, 6A, and CM-CMP (required).
Strong communication skills, with ability to present complex analysis clearly and concisely.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 10 years of Hong Kong/U.S. equity research experience covering technology sectors , with a background in buy-side (funds, asset management) or sell-side (brokerage, investment banking).
• At least 3 years of equity research team management experience.
• Deep expertise in technology sectors (e.g., Internet, semiconductors, AI, SaaS, hardware) with an established industry network.
• Language skills in English and Mandarin are required for effective communication with clients and stakeholders in both languages.
