The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team works closely with the Global Diversity Working Group, Asia ex-Japan senior management team and across a range of business divisions to:
• Align inclusion, equality and diversity strategy with business outcomes
• Ensure conscious inclusion is built into people, client and supplier policies, practices and initiatives.
• Make a critical difference by embedding the strategy and creating accountability and focus.
• Drive organizational culture and engagement
Role description
This role is a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work with the Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Asia ex-Japan to deliver on the above objectives by:
• Managing the development, design, planning, and execution of the firm's diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, events, and special projects.
• Reviewing people analytics and data to inform the global/regional DEI strategy and effectiveness of DEI initiatives
• Partnering with HR, business leaders, Employee Resource Groups, and external vendors.
Additional responsibilities could include but not limited to:
• Working closely with the recruiting team (lateral and Early Careers) to coordinate and strengthen our inclusive hiring efforts
• Serving as key liaison with the firm’s four Employee Resource Groups to ensure their planning, budgeting, and programming align with the firm’s DEI strategy.
• Preparing responses to industry benchmarking surveys, audits, and external awards
• Conducting ongoing research on DEI trends and best practices
• Partnering closely with Corporate Communications on DEI-related branding and marketing content
• Facilitating and managing DEI training programs both at a global and regional level
• Collaborating) with global colleagues on global DEI programs and strategy
• Managing the regional D&I budget
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development or Diversity, Equity & Inclusion or HR Consulting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning; within Human Resource, or Learning & Development, or Diversity, Equity & Inclusion area
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or program management
• Minimum a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited tertiary institution
• Persistent and agile self-starter who thrives on collaboration, partnership, innovation, and demonstrates a creative mind-set
• Demonstrates a strong passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and is passionate about challenging the status quo and thinking outside of the box

As the APAC Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager MUFG, you will be responsible for designing and implementing DEI programs tailored to meet the needs of MUFG’s diverse workforce across APAC. - We are looking for an experienced HR to deliver a wide-ranging HR services for a workforce of 150+ employees comprised of Professionals and Blue collars.
- Plan, formulate and implement HR policies in accordance with the legislation and business needs into the staff handbook and operationalize/maintain and communicate via official Platforms ( Notions etc).
- Take charge of all operational HR functions such payroll administration, legislative claims submission handling of Work passes and Office matters relating to staff welfares.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Business Partnering for Kranji Factory. Be the go to person for all staff matters from onboarding to off boarding .
- Process and accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of each payroll run through Times Software
- Implement strategic short- and long-term HR initiatives, in Implement strategic short- and long-term HR initiatives, in partnership with the Head, HR and leadership teams, to support new business initiatives and goals.
- Drive human resource compliance and ensure standardization and consistency of human resource practices and policies.
- Lead and implement key programs/changes focused on building an enduring organization positioned for growth, including learning and development, total rewards, and HR platforms and systems
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 7 years of work experience rising from HR Executive to HR Assistant Manger with at least 3 years working as a Team Lead.
- Individual comfortable in a fast-paced and often-changing environment with the ability to multitask and prioritize quickly
- Experience and exposure to a variety of HR facets including employee relations, benefits, payroll, performance management, leadership development, and learning and development
- One who sees changes as challenges and put on a thinking cap to make sound recommendations and not afraid to speak and not afraid of failures
- IT Savy and fast learner especially with IT application. Ability to leverage on technology to improve HR processes and reduce administrative burdens for all people
- Familiarity with manufacturing environment and possess strong interpersonal skills to handle blue collar worker
- Startup or scale-up background preferred; comfortable with ambiguity, speed, and ownership

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the key areas of responsibility are:
- To partner with the HRD and Hotel HODs to create and support the hotel’s business strategies.
- To lead and support all aspects of the associate experience that impacts the organization business performance.
- To develop action plans, direct and coordinate human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labour relations, benefits, training, and employee services.
- To support the hotel with departmental training requirements in collaboration with the department heads and their departmental trainers.
- To collaborate with department heads to assess training needs.
- To provide on-going support to department heads in their team’s coaching and skills development.
- To monitor training effectiveness and make improvements where necessary.
- To identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- To assist and prepare manpower budgets, control and analyse department costs on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budget.
- To develop staffing policies in line with the hotel’s business strategies and implement an effective system in selecting and placing the right people for the right job.
- To administer payroll processing and coordinate with external payroll provider
- To analyse wage, salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
- To drive the company performance management process as per schedules (half yearly & annual) and to objectively measure the work performance of the employees.
- To monitor and implement personal development plans and appraisals for staff.
- To negotiate collective bargaining contracts and to maintain good industrial relations with the union.
- To manage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability.
- To ensure completion of management reports for head office and region.
- To assist and resolve team member and management queries.
- To review staff cafeteria menus and discuss the monthly special menus with the chef.
- To handle staff engagement activities such as townhall and Dinner & Dance.
- To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant experience in the same capacity.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience in learning and development, talent acquisition, employee relations, and payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Energetic, proactive, self-driven, and highly motivated team player with an interest in the hospitality industry.
- Adaptable, determined, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced environment that encourages change and achievement.
