Applicants should have at least 8 years’ experience supporting a large number of RedHat Linux or similar production servers in IT or SaaS environments.
Location note: the role requires being physically located in Singapore time zone.
What You'll Do
Monitor and maintain the Production Linux environment consisting of many servers
Assist in building out new infrastructure in AWS
Investigate and resolve production issues
Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to implement changes/enhancements to production architecture (new servers and configuration updates)
Investigate new technologies
Develop, maintain, and improve internal tools for server monitoring and maintenance
Share on-call responsibilities at night and on weekends and support work as needed
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
8+ years Unix/Linux administration/Support in a production environment (Red Hat or Amazon Linux preferred)
Knowledge of OS and network security (firewall and system hardening)
Advanced systems and automation programming skills
Analytical thinking and rapid problem solving in a fast-paced environment
Versatility, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Must be located in the Singapore time zone
