Job Summary:
The Senior Manager – ESG will be responsible for leading the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the organization’s ESG strategy. The role requires strategic thinking, strong stakeholder engagement, regulatory awareness, and analytical depth to drive measurable ESG performance across the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic ESG Leadership
Develop and refine the ESG strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
Drive ESG integration into business planning, risk management, and decision-making.
Lead cross-functional collaboration to implement ESG initiatives and improvements.
Quantify targets, develop initiatives needed to meet targets, secure executive approvals, funding and site resources to execute.
Sustainability & Reporting
Oversee ESG data collection, performance monitoring, and KPIs.
Prepare high-quality ESG/sustainability disclosures and reports (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP).
Ensure compliance with regulatory and voluntary ESG reporting requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders
Manage ESG ratings and benchmarks (MSCI, Sustainalytics, DJSI).
Lead materiality assessments and stakeholder consultations.
Support the integration of ESG risks into the enterprise risk management framework.
Advise senior leadership and the board on ESG trends and regulatory developments.
Establish governance frameworks and policies aligned with ESG best practices.
Team Management
Lead and mentor cross functional team members.
Promote ESG awareness and training across the organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, SDGs, ISSB, etc.)
Proficiency in ESG data platforms, dashboards, and tools
Program management knowledge is compulsary
Educational/Certification Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Finance, or related field.
Master’s degree or ESG/sustainability certification (e.g., GRI Certified, CFA ESG, SASB FSA) preferred.
Experience Requirement:
7–10+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility roles.
Experience with ESG ratings, disclosures, and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
Work Experience:
Industry experience in electronic, contract manufacturing, manufacturing.
