As a key member of our organization, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that contracts awarded meet all relevant legislative requirements related to workplace safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) system, including site inspections and site safety management.
• Implement and manage electronic permit-to-work systems as required by clients.
• Develop and implement a workplace safety and health program for new workers, including identification systems for qualified personnel and operators.
• Attend SHE coordination meetings, plan work sequences, identify incompatible works and risks/hazards, and develop site maps for delivery and storage improvements.
• Handle near-miss, accident, and incident reporting, and propose remedial measures to prevent recurrence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should hold a Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline, WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health, or higher. A minimum of 10 years post-registered experience as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM is also required. Familiarity with railway/building communication systems is an advantage.

Well versed with HSE management system, statutory requirements and codes of practices

Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001 and SS651 is an added advantage.
