About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS Management Plans aligned with corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Risk Management & Compliance:

Incident & Emergency Response:

HSE Audits & Inspections:
Plan and conduct regular HSE audits and inspections on-site, at fabrication yards, and during offshore operations. Ensure subcontractor HSE compliance through inspections and performance reviews, tracking corrective actions and verifying their closure.
Training & Awareness:
Develop and deliver EHS induction programs for project personnel, organize toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and awareness initiatives. Ensure specialized training is provided and maintained.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare weekly and monthly EHS reports for submission to the Project Manager and client. Maintain accurate EHS statistics, including LTIFR, TRIR, and other KPIs, ensuring EHS documentation and records are controlled and archived in accordance with project and corporate systems.
Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of zero incidents and zero harm, capturing lessons learned and implementing improvements for future projects.
Working Conditions:
Onshore site visits and extended working hours may be required during critical project phases. Must be available for rapid deployment to project sites when operational issues arise, and be able to meet physical demands including climbing, lifting, and extended standing in field conditions.
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Master's degree in HSE Management preferred. Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS management systems, strong understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001, familiarity with international standards and local statutory requirements, incident and emergency response planning, and leadership and communication skills.
