Digitisation:
- Digitally savvy, with experience implementing digital tools to enhance EHS performance.
- Develop and implement a digital plan for collecting EHS data from sites; analyse data to assess and improve project EHS performance.
Training:
- Plan and implement regular EHS training programmes for staff, workers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain comprehensive EHS training records in coordination with the HR department.
- Ensure that all new site personnel are properly briefed on relevant EHS regulations and requirements.
Support:
- Represent the company in industry and safety-related groups, and at stakeholder meetings relating to EHS.
- Organise EHS-related initiatives such as campaigns and awards to promote a strong safety culture.
Communication:
- Maintain open communication with Corporate Management and Project Managers to align EHS directions with project operations.

Requirements
- Preferably a Registered Professional Engineer (Civil) with the PE Board (with a valid PE Practising Certificate).

- Minimum 12 years of EHS experience in the construction field, with at least 7 years in a managerial capacity for building projects.
- Strong all-rounded knowledge in EHS management (e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001), EHS regulations, and planning capabilities to support construction progress and operations in Singapore.
- Good experience in environmental and OSHA compliance, sustainability, risk assessment and reduction, occupational health and safety, and industrial hygiene is essential.

Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering/Occupational Safety/Health or GCE 'O' Levels/GCE 'N' Levels or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years experience in construction industry, preferably in Facilities Management/Data Centre/M&E Projects
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or equivalent qualification recognized by MOM
- Keen eye for detail on site work activity to eliminate hazards and risk
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of WSH Act, environmental and other legal requirements
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.

Responsibilities
- To support EHS Manager to ensure the compliance and continuous improvement of all EHS operations at workplace to comply with workplace safety and health, environmental and other legal requirements.
- Monitor the implementation and performance of EHS programs and work activities in order to advice management so as to improve on any deficiencies and WSH Act, environmental and other legal non-compliances.
- Conduct necessary risk assessment and assist preparation of method statement
- Facilitate and assist in the investigation of incidents, identification of root causes and the implementation of the necessary corrective and preventive measures & report to relevant parties
- Organize and conduct workplace EHS meeting
- Organize and conduct Safety Committee Meeting
- Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors on compliance with site EHS rules, permits to work and safe work procedures risk assessments and any other necessary safety and environmental requirements.
- Conduct site environmental, health and safety induction and training where necessary.
- Assist in the maintenance of all EHS management system documentation.
- Coordinate and monitor compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and risk management program requirements.
- Conduct regular site EHS inspections and the reporting of all safe and unsafe conditions, including the follow-up actions until closure.
- Direct the issuance of Notices of Non-Compliance to contractor/subcontractors found in violation of EHS rules & regulations, and follow-up to ensure compliance.
- Ensure all lifting gears, appliances, electrical equipment are inspected and records are up to date
- Assist with the training and competencies of the emergency response teams
