  • Reporting to the EHS Officer/Manager.
  • Implementing and monitoring site EHS management systems.

Job Description:

Your Role involves developing, implementing and monitoring Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures and site-specific safety plans in accordance with local regulations and company standards.

  • Work closely with project teams, site personnel, subcontractors and authorities to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments; follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis and preparation of reports with recommended actions.
  • Facilitate toolbox meetings, safety briefings and EHS training programs to raise awareness and promote a safety culture.
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of all EHS records, permits, licenses and certifications.
  • Monitor environmental aspects and ensure compliance with waste management, pollution control and sustainability practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Registered WSHO and ECO with at least 5 years of EHS experience at managerial level with a main construction firm preferred.
  • Familiar with local EHS regulations, construction safety codes and audit requirements.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to engage with various stakeholders, project team etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting tools.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure and respond effectively during site emergencies.
