The Human Potential Translational Research Programme at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to contribute to multidisciplinary projects on heat, environment, and human health.
This role is part of Project HEATS, which combines field deployments, wearable devices, and environmental sensing to address pressing challenges in urban health and resilience. The successful candidate will be working with large-scale time series and sensor datasets to generate insights for decision-support tools.
Main duties include:
- Data analysis of environmental exposures in relation to health and well-being outcomes.
- Applying advanced statistical and machine learning methods to sensor datasets.
- Contributing to the development of risk models for environmental health and climate resilience.
- Generating reports and high-quality publications for presentation to stakeholders.
A PhD in environmental/climate science, data science, epidemiology, public health, or a closely related field is required.
