We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant. In this role, you will support the sales team by assisting in customer acquisition, providing exceptional customer service, and helping with the development of business strategies. Your efforts will contribute to increasing the customer base, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting the growth of the business.
Due to the nature of this role,
Japanese language proficiency is required
as you will need to communicate with staff at our Japan HQ in Japanese to ensure smooth collaboration and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition Support:
Assist the sales team in identifying and prospecting new business opportunities.
Help develop strategies to reach potential clients through various channels.
Support customer outreach and follow-ups to understand their needs and introduce relevant products or services.
Sales and Service Support:
Work with internal teams to support the creation and enhancement of services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demands.
Assist in market research to identify potential business opportunities and customer trends.
Help in the launch of new services by ensuring smooth communication between teams and timely delivery.
Customer Service and Relationship Management:
Provide ongoing support to existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction with products and services.
Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.
Maintain regular communication with customers to foster long-term relationships and identify additional sales opportunities.
Administrative and Operational Support:
Support sales operations by managing schedules, preparing sales presentations, and coordinating between teams.
Assist in maintaining customer records and managing customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Monitor customer satisfaction and assist in collecting feedback to improve services.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
Proven experience in sales, customer service, or related roles.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and eager to support sales initiatives and achieve goals.
Organizational skills and attention to detail in administrative tasks.
Conversational Japanese proficiency
is required to collaborate effectively with our team at Japan HQ.
Salary:
4,000SGD-5,000SGD/Month plus Annual Wage Supplement (AWS)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the fashion industry (particularly in preloved fashion).
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences.
Work Environment:
This position will be based in a fast-paced, growing startup environment. Tasks and priorities may shift frequently, so flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. The Sales Assistant may also be asked to contribute to additional responsibilities as the company grows.

Requirements
- University degree
- Proficiency in Japanese language skills required to effectively communicate with Japanese -speaking clients.
- Familiar with complex ERP systems preferred
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Experience in semi-conductor sector will be advantageous
