The Responsibilities

• Lead technical review of new project orders and assign work to engineers and drafters.
• Ensure timely submission of engineering documents (e.g., schematics, wiring diagrams, datasheets, test procedures).
• Review all engineering documents before submission to clients.
• Manage engineering change processes and ensure documents are updated.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and drafters; support operations on technical matters.

The Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of supervisory experience in Valve Automation and/or Instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiar with industry standards (ISO 12490 / API 6DX / IOGP S-707 / SHELL DEP).
• Able to read/interpret engineering drawings and documents.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D or similar drafting tools is advantageous.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Technical review on new project orders and order assignments to Technical Engineer & Drafter team.
• Ensure timely submission of engineering documents i.e. Control Schematic Drawing, General Assembly Drawing, Wiring Diagram, Nameplate Drawing, Test Procedure, Data Sheet etc.
• Review all project engineering documents before submitting them to client.
• Manage engineering change function and ensure engineering documents are updated accordingly.
• Provide advice and guidance to Technical Engineer & Drafter team for any technical queries and to support other ops team on various aspects of technical/engineering matters.
• To check and make recommendations based on common industrial engineering practice, where necessary.

• Providing field support for customers to resolve after-sales technical issues or technical clarifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 6-8 years supervisory experience in Valve Automation and/or instrumentation background.
• Conversant with ISO 12490 / API 6DX / IOGP S-707 / SHELL DEP standards or other industrial standards related to Valve Automation and/or instrumentation.
• Possess a strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
