About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control and Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in building and/or civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality control processes and provide recommendations for improvements on work processes.
  • Manage quality-related activities & inspections on the project to ensure compliance to project and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to provide a consistent quality framework for application across all project deliverables and promote the continual enhancement and consistent quality management system.
  • Investigate and present root cause report for resolution with project team as and when quality issues arise in the project.
  • Provide advice and exercise correction actions for any faults or issues discovered at site.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure product quality meets design parameters and technical requirements, adhering to BCA's good industry practice guidelines.
  • Develop and execute effective QA/QC plans, prepare precise reports, and assist in preparation of QM submissions.
  • Manage testing requirements as per contracts.
  • Liaise with authorities (i.e assessment to achieve target score, LTA on inspections and compliances)
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or construction-related field.
  • 1– 3 years of building and/or civil engineering experience.
  • Experience in QA/QC and certified auditors would be an added advantage.
  • Completed at least 1 building project.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel.
  • Ability to station at worksite, willing to travel and work at vendor location when required.

  • Analyze trends in manufacturing process, to define underlying causes of waste
  • Lead teams of associates to identify and implement continuous improvement for quality, yield and productivity.
  • Spearhead process automation control upgrades or other modifications for product/process improvement
  • Network with other engineers and experts globally to leverage knowledge and best practices. Be the advocate of such practices for Operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, or Automation control background.
