What this job involves:
This is a key role responsible for Engineering Operations in Singapore, to drive JLL’s Critical Environment Management best practices across accounts in Singapore. Responsible for Engineering Operations, facility services and business continuity for Clients, i.e. responsible for technical service delivery, Client alignment, Vendor management, Risk and Compliance, targeting 100% uptime by Implementation of best practices in Critical Environment
- Protect the health and safety of staff and others by adhering to and developing guidelines and strategies
- Support the Account Business where SME skills are required outside of Account BAU activity, specifically with critical environments such as data centres, trading floors or business critical systems.
- Position yourself as subject matter expert in a particular functional area and support operations in implementation of CEM (Critical Environment Management) processes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with JLL programs and audit programs and participate in EO community initiatives
- Ensure implementation of EO deliverables on all new sites and Accounts during the transition stage in partnership with the transition team.
- Ensure alignment and compliance to established Policies and Standard Operating Procedures for the management of the client’s Critical Environment (CEM)
- Keep CEM portfolio information updated on the portal at all times for your sub region and demonstrate client facing engagements on key accounts in your sub region
- Support the Solutions Development team to convert sales opportunities into successful CS Accounts for JLL
- Drive Innovation & New Technology to support and optimize Facility Operations
- Conduct training and deliver lectures to site teams/ Site Engineers
- Ensure proper engineering documentation and adherence to the established change management controls for all sites
- Conduct of CMO (Compliance Management Organisation) & QA assurance audits to ensure that all safety procedures, including disaster recovery and business continuity plan and escalation procedures are in place and maintained
- Adhere to JLL’s business conduct by ensuring compliance with the firm’s guidelines, procedures, and strategies
The role will also be required to support in developing new Engineering products and services, that respond to market requirements and changing dynamics and that will lead to successful business results for JLL in delivering Engineering Services.

Technically Competency
For this position we are looking for someone who is qualified with Electrical or Mechanical engineering and well versed with utility engineering,

Engineering and Operations Program Management
- Work closely with the Head Engineering Operations & CEM Lead South East Asia, to implement JLL’s Engineering and Operations platform.
- Work closely with the Country CS Leads, Solution Development Leads and Director Engineering Operations to assess market opportunities in this sector and provide SME leadership in Client proposals and presentations for new work and renewal of existing client accounts.
- Provide strategic leadership and develop and implement the 5-year strategic plan for Engineering Services in SEA HUB
- Ensure the delivery of Learning & Development for essential operational requirements for CS Teams across SEA Hub
- Prepare and deliver presentations for external speaking engagements on the topics of Engineering Services.
- Incident response and Root Cause analysis for avoiding incident recurrence and achieving operational stability.
- Ensure EO deliverables like risk assessment, site criticality rating, CMO incident reporting, setting up site on CMO platform, customisation of engineering processes and due implementation etc. as mandated during transition phase of new sites and accounts are undertaken in a timely manner for seamless closure.
- Manage the preparation of an Operations Manual (Playbook) for the delivery of Engineering Services.
- Optimize Operations & Maintenance functions, including Continuous Commissioning initiatives.
- Oversee and support various sites during the annual shutdown maintenance. Review and approve the overall work plan, maintenance scripting and the safe work method statements
- Plan technical audits across the region and further ensuring that all the audits are conducted as per timelines.
- Conduct audits to ensure that all safety procedures, including disaster recovery, business continuity plan and escalation procedures are in place and maintained.
- Undertake risk assessment and single point of failure analysis. Highlight all concerns along with mitigation plans with respect to business continuity to site team as well as the client.
- Developing Critical Environment Bulletins for South East Asia covering topics on mission critical areas, its upkeep and Industry best practices.
- Responsible for delivery of various engineering and HSE based training for engineering staff across India covering Critical Environment Modules & Building Operations
- Seek out and obtain engineering consultancy opportunities with existing and new clients within South region. Actively engage & assist in the preparation of client proposals and presentations as required.
- Undertake timely report preparation and due presentation as per defined format.
People Management
- Understand skills/resources available and effectively delegate to and leverage talent most effectively for business-as-usual.(BAU)
- Manage regular regional conference calls to ensure goals, issues, changes/updates are effectively communicated throughout the organization.
- Create annual Individual Performance Measurement Process (IPMP) templates in conjunction with Human Resources for all nominated positions. Work with the Director Engineering and Operations Solutions South East Asia HUB to ensure that IPMP program is completed within Human Resources requirements.
Relationship Management
- Understand both the client and JLL organisation charts and effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders / clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with all JLL stakeholders including other the Business Line Leaders in SEA HUB
Financial Management:
- Provide input into annual budget preparation process and monthly financial reporting processes
- Support the organization to achieve the revenue Targets, in accordance with approved budgets and JLL revenue recognition requirements.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that CS teams are operating within statutory EH&S requirements and that all local reporting is being completed as required on a monthly or quarterly basis. Maintain records as required by audit process.
- Ensure that all CS Client Accounts are performing regular testing of equipment & building fire life safety systems as mandated by JLL/client policy and/or local statutory requirements.

Basic Qualifications
