Job Description
Provide engineering support to manufacturing equipment and processes.
Carry out preventative maintenance of production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty production equipment
Improve and upgrade production equipment hardware and control software
Identify and rectify process problems for quality improvement and scrap reduction
Update and control equipment spare parts
Install and qualify new processes and equipment
Support new program/model start-up
Support production overtime on weekdays, weekends, Sundays, and public holidays
Minimize machine downtime, scrap raw materials/products
Maintain correct spare parts inventory and product quality
Communicate with production operators, supervisors, and other support groups
Qualifications:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering
At least 3 years of similar experience in the manufacturing industry with problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team
Ability to perform shift work
