Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire engineering design lifecycle for offshore oil and gas development platforms, including conceptual, FEED, and detailed design phases.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Offshore Oil & Gas Engineering Design or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the design of offshore oil and gas development platforms
• At least 5 years in a design management role on large-scale offshore projects
• Proven ability to lead complex engineering design projects from early concept through to execution
• In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and certification processes for offshore oil & gas in Qatar is a MUST
• Experience in managing design reviews and regulatory approvals in the Middle East region
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials preferred
• Prior work experience on Qatar-based projects is an advantage
• Knowledge of Shell and Qatar Petroleum (QP) standards is a preferred
• Excellent command of English
• Familiarity with international standards and Middle East regional mechanical design codes.

The Engineering Design Specialist is responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining engineering designs and models to ensure structural drawings and specifications align with project requirements.

This role involves utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to produce precise 3D models, manage design data, and support the project team in visualizing and coordinating the design intent across multiple construction projects.
