What you will be working on
- You will be part of the team that process plans and calculations of the geotechnical structures and other structures such as building foundations, sub-structural works, tunnelling and earth-retaining structures for excavation works which are submitted by professional engineers and accredited checkers.
- You are required to perform checks and reviews of structural and geotechnical plans including geotechnical analyses, impact assessments, and monitoring plan.
- You are also expected to develop policies related to such works, conduct site checks and investigate site non-compliance.
What we are looking for
- A post-graduate degree in geotechnical engineering such as MSc(Geotechnical Engineering), MSc(Soil Mechanics) or equivalent
- A practising professional engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board
- At least 5 years of post-graduate design and construction experience in geotechnical works e.g. deep foundation, deep excavation works, tunnelling, ground improvement and stabilisation works
- Experienced in the use of numerical modelling and geotechnical software
- Good command of spoken and written English.

- Assist with Product Manufacturing Engineer (ME) to execute operation preparation tickets in PLM/SAP application
- Assist Product ME to define and create manufacturing procedures, build sequence, methods, and quality documentation (i.e. work instructions, test procedures, inspection checklists, etc.) according to material and assembly specifications.
- On-site validation to validate draft version of the procedure and upload revision with manufacturing product lines
- Create and maintain new OMS Pro (Order Management System) documentation:
- Assist product ME to develop jigs/fixtures design in 3D/2D applications
- Support the implementation of timely solutions for the suppliers, contract manufacturing, and internal manufacturing by liaising with cross-functional teams in Global Operations (GOPS) and Business Units (BU)
- Support the execution of continuous improvement projects on quality, cost, capacity, and efficiency enhancement with cross functional teams in GOPS and BU
- Work with Product ME to deliver tooling and test equipment according to product requirements, with innovations in meeting manufacturing efficiency and customer quality
Requirements
- Education : Diploma/Bachelor of engineering in Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Control Engineering
- Experience : Industrial experience in Engineering/Manufacturing field is a plus
- Software: Microsoft office skills, AutoCAD, 3D modelling experience using PTC Creo, Visual Enterprise author will be a plus
- Experience with SAP PLM and/or major ERP/MRP systems and processes at user level will be a plus
- Advanced excel scripting writing, v-look up, visio basic or other coding or scripting skills will be a plus
General / Technical Skills:
· Able to understand 2D drawings, 3D models, validate GD &T
· Interpret electrical, Pneumatic schematics
· Able to write simple procedures with and create checklists
· Familiar with operational excellence tools : Lean manufacturing, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, Problem solving
· Clean room working experience is a plus and need to follow its protocol

With support and direction from more experienced electrical and mechanical engineers, performs complex testing, debug, failure analysis, circuit modification and design verification of new and prototype products.
Works with product specifications, schematics and mechanical drawings; assembles, tests, debugs, repairs and/or modifies new product prototypes.
Performs tasks associated with, and not limited to, the following:
Schedules and performs preventative maintenance. Maintains records for equipment availability, failure analysis and maintenance.
Tracks spare parts usage and maintains inventory of equipment spare parts.
Helps move, install, set-up and refurbish equipment.
May also perform special trade tasks such as tool and die maker, electrician etc.
Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical and pneumatic systems and principals of operation.
Strong knowledge of the setup, operation, and maintenance of specific equipment sets used in manufacturing processes.
Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and fabrication procedures.
Strong knowledge of electronic circuitry and testing and debugging procedures.
Knowledge of computer programming and ability to use applications specific to this position (such as C++).
Ability to read and interpret product specifications, schematics and mechanical drawings.
Ability to use hand and power tools required for test assembly.
Knowledge of personal computers and Windows applications.
Excellent knowledge of quality standards.
Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal customers.
Physical Demands
Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
Duties require extended periods of sustained visual concentration on detailed documentation and product assemblies.
Duties of the position require periodic light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motions, sitting in confined workspaces, using tools and equipment, and moving and handling materials.
Duties may require periodic heavy manual effort including lifting objects over 20 pounds.

Two to Four years relevant experience
Typical Education
Two or three year community college diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Descriptions:
- Technical Support: Serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting. You'll also provide feedback to help with follow-up jobs.
- Pre-Sales Engineering: Work with the Sales Manager to understand customer requirements and provide technical information on our products. You will also assist in preparing direct estimates and quotations and participate in the planning and survey phase of new installations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Manager/ Assistant Manager, DCES, you will work collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders to ensure data centre uptime, optimize cost efficiency, and enhance performance. Your role will also involve driving problem resolution and aligning engineering support with business objectives, which includes:
- Provide advanced engineering support for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across electrical, mechanical, BMS, and other critical systems.
- Lead problem management and root cause analysis (RCA), implementing corrective and preventive measures for high-severity incidents.
- Act as a 2nd/3rd-level technical escalation point for site operations and critical infrastructure matters.
- Develop, review, and enforce engineering standards, including procedures, MOPs, drawings, test scripts, and vendor recommendations, ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance.
- Oversee asset lifecycle management, recommending upgrades, refreshes, and obsolescence strategies while supporting predictive and reliability-centred maintenance.
- Conduct risk assessments for critical infrastructure, identify single points of failure, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support business continuity and recovery planning with engineering expertise and risk mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional DCO towers, including Site Operations, Solutioning & Provisioning, Service Assurance, and Technical Service Management, to ensure seamless operations and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with the Technology & Project Delivery team to improve maintainability and built quality.
- Responsible and accountable for the procurement of technical services and works, contract management and administration of existing service agreements & renewals.
- Collaborate with Group DC Operations to develop, verify and review technical policies, processes, procedure and work instructions, including maintenance frameworks and best practices.
- Serve as the program manager responsible and accountable for overseeing the entire process; from planning to certification of all technical accreditation programs, including Green Mark, ISO, etc.
- Ensuring full compliance with applicable Acts, Regulations and legislation in relation to Singapore DC building operations.
- Any other duties or projects as assigned by the Management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in managing critical facilities development or operations, as well as project management in 24x7 Data Centre environment.
- Must possess certifications such as SCEM, GMM, GMFM, GMP, GMFP or other related certifications.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CEng, PE, PMP, Uptime Accredited Tier Designer/Specialist) are preferred.
- Proven track record in leading certification programs, including ANSI/TIA-942, Uptime, BCA-IDA Green Mark, SS564, LEED, ISO, etc
- Familiar with international standards such as ASHRAE, Uptime, ISO, NFPA, SS 564, SS 638.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
