Roles and Responsibilities:
Deliver Technical Variance responses and outputs to the required cost, quality, and timescales, with engagement and support of key stakeholders.
- Understand the Technical Variance request and provide commitments on the dates for Draft availability, and eventual release of document to the applicant
- Attend meetings with customer groups like compliance verification , specialists etc to seek solution approvals
- Perform Technical Execution and approve the Technical documentation as Competent Author
- Analyse technical data and make recommendations for technical solutions (technical publication changes)
- Skills /Competencies:
- Essential Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Knowledgeable of Aero-Engine, its Modules, Parts and terminology
1.5 -2 Years Work Experience
Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with external customers
- Preferred skills
After-market engineering support exposure
Experience working with Aero-Engine products
Ability to exercise engineering judgement to identify Safety/Reliability/Cost issues and provide solutions
Additional Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In this role, you're expected to:
- The role will be focused on shifting Production Management towards a proactive, predictive model using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
- Key experience required in areas like SRE, Observability, or Data Engineering, along with a strong understanding of incident management, automation (using tools like SQL and Python), and collaboration across different teams.
- The roles will leverage AI to improve issues escalation and diagnosis.
- Incident Management: Deep understanding of incident response, recovery processes, and engineering operations in enterprise environments & the related KPIs
- Automation: Champion automation initiatives to streamline operational tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention. This includes scripting for automated health checks, alerting, and remediation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the incident lifecycle.
- Participate in post-mortem analysis and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- The role is vital for seamless operation of business-critical Client Onboarding applications used by Citi clients, internal bankers, and operations teams.
- Additionally, the resource will support Eclipse, Onboarding ,Wealth at Work, Data Driven Onboarding (DDO), Salesforce, and Document Management System (DMS) applications which integrate with over 25 internal and external applications to facilitate seamless onboarding and KYC-related functions for UHNW and HNW clients.
As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in "Production management" OR "Site Reliability Engineering"
- Relevant experience in Incident Management
- Relevant experience in Automation using SQL & Python.
- AI Knowledge & Functional/Business Knowledge.
- Exposure in Data Engineering.

About the Role
You will be the Process Engineer reporting to our Plant Manager. You play a critical role in production organization as a technical resource for operations personnel. You apply technical skills to optimize plant operations, resolve plant problems, and enable safe and efficient production of low cost, quality products. You work with internal and external subject matter experts to implement best practices to drive positive change onsite.
You are inquisitive, analytical, data-driven, process-oriented. You have experience or knowledge in plant automation and robotic. Work location is Tuas West manufacturing site.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a resource to guide teams on applicable process technology, equipment and controls technology. Works with plant personnel to meet/exceed business and plant goals (safety, quality, reliability, cost, etc.)
- Lead and participate in safety and quality investigations. Drive root cause analysis to identify contributing factors and implement sustainable improvements.
- Analyze trends in manufacturing process, to define underlying causes of waste
- Lead teams of associates to identify and implement continuous improvement for quality, yield and productivity.
- Spearhead process automation control upgrades or other modifications for product/process improvement
- Network with other engineers and experts globally to leverage knowledge and best practices. Be the advocate of such practices for Operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, or Automation control background.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
- Knowledge and experience in powdered metal processing and or plastic injection molding is an added advantageous.
