Job Description

Compensation and Benefits Specialist (f/m/x)

What awaits you?

  • Supports the BMW Group HR strategy and policies in Compensation and benefits.
  • Implementation of BMW Group Strategy and policies in the region in cooperation with local business and HR. Consultancy on Compensation and Benefit, Labour Cost, Job Evaluation of all the entities in Asia Pacific.
  • Work closely with HR counterparts in local entities in region to ensure a robust Compensation and Benefits structure across the business.
  • Responsible for steering in line with central guidelines, policies and programs and ensure overall integrity through guiding principles of the Global Total Rewards programs to be implemented by local HR in the markets.
  • Conduct analyses and provide recommendations around external market competitiveness and program design effectiveness.
  • Contribute in project steering in the Region based on expertise/seniority/complexity of the project and team tasks allocation.
  • Steer benefits review process and implementation of labour cost measures in local markets.
  • Provide analysis on Comp & Ben topics to the headquarter/local markets and assist on training to the markets.
  • Responsible for Comp & Ben projects especially e.g. salary band design, flexible benefit program.
  • Coordinates for the salary increase budget planning processes to ensure BMW market positioning, budget planning, allocation and salary & bonus payout review, in alignment with the Team Lead.
  • Support for salary surveys to determine BMW’s total remuneration position in the country, interpret results and make recommendations that support the development and maintenance of effective compensation and benefits programs aligned with the BMW Group Total Remuneration Principles.

What should you bring along?

  • Business Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fields of study.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or related professional experience. International working experience preferred.
  • Deep knowledge in compensation, organizational planning, organization development, benefit program designs, job evaluations.
  • High level of Analytical and Strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to shape and steer topics in a complex environment and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Multi-cultural sensitivity while collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications eg Excel, Power BI etc.

Role Description
