We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Year 1 teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching all subject areas of the Primary Year 1 curriculum, including English, Mathematics, Environmental Science, and Art & Design.
- To teach all module and subject areas of the Primary Year 1 Cambridge curriculum (students who are minimum 5 years old).
- Competent to teach any Second Language subject such as Tamil or Hindi.
- Will sit as an Advisory Teacher and Subject Teacher for Cambridge Primary Programme (Year 1).
- Taking daily attendance, maintaining leaves records, and generate monthly attendance report to check and verify.
- Dynamic and able to teach with expertise in Cambridge/IB curriculum (mastery in English, Mathematics, & Science modules)
- Knowledge to teach Tamil as second language in Cambridge Curriculum is preferred.
- Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age students.
- Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
- Planning, preparing, and presenting differentiated lessons that cater the needs of the whole ability range within their class.
- Motivating students with enthusiastic, imaginative class activities.
- Preparing, marking, and providing feedback to facilitate positive student development.
- Meeting requirements for the assessment. Records, evaluates, and reports student's development.
- Providing feedback to parents on students progress.
Working collaboratively with others to plan and coordinate work.
Organising and taking part for school events, outings, and activities. - Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.
