As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the M&E Project Director/Manager by performing engineering duties such as planning, design, load & fault calculations, tender preparation/evaluation, QA, and testing & commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be part of an Operations Team and perform complex engineering tasks to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and contractors to lead projects and produce designs and tender documents.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering or related field.
- At least 6 years of experience working in an M&E Design & Consultancy firm or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of data centre projects is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with local codes of practice and standards is essential.
- Ability to travel for short trips when required.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
· Carry out routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
· Troubleshoot electrical faults and execute timely repairs to ensure equipment reliability and safety
· Supervise contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and quality requirements
· Support day-to-day operations and perform administrative duties, including updating maintenance records and reports
· Ensure all works adhere to safe work procedures and are compliant with plant operational standards and regulatory guidelines
· Assist in planning and executing plant shutdown maintenance and improvement works when required
Qualifications & Experience:
· ITI-certified Electrical Technician with 10 years of hands-on expertise
· Valid WSHO/Level B Safety Coordinator certificate.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in site coordination, project supervision, or related field and Construction Industry.
· Relevant supervisory course certifications (e.g., WAH, Confined Space) are a plus.
· Candidates should be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
· Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
· Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
· Preparedness to respond to emergencies when necessary.
