· Prepare tender submission including Bills of Quantities.
· Preparation of tender quotations including taking-off, materials / subcontractors outsourcing and costing.
· Analyse project cost, including equipment, material and labour with past purchasing records.
· Attend site visits to visualise the potential site challenges and risk management.
· Evaluation of price comparison and cost summary for management to review;
· Identify and mitigate potential risks and cost overruns.
· Coordinate with various personnel for the compilation of project cost estimates; Source and order materials for projects.
· Conduct cost analysis for the project to ensure the overall value is enhanced. Control project scope to meet project objectives to enhance project deliverables and key work activities.
· Studying tender specifications and drawings to highlight potential risk for the company.
· Responsible for administration of project budget, cost control and sub-contract and main-contract including Variation Order (VO) and settlement of final accounts
· Project procurement and purchasing, price negotiation and analysis
· Prepare sub-contract agreement and payment
· Submit monthly report for progress payment claim
· Identify other potential claims based on review of the contract deviations
· Handle issues including extension of time, terms and condition, loss and expenses claim etc
· Review and negotiate with the sub-contractors recommended by the project manager as and when necessary
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
· Performs other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
· Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering.
· Min 5 years of construction Quantity Surveyor experience for the electrical project in singapore.
· Able to work independently., know well for tender platform such as gebiz
· Proficient in MS office applications AutoCad
· Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
