We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Service Engineer to assume key responsibilities in the installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including electrical works, PLC controllers/modules, BMS/SCADA, HMI, and A/C works.
- Candidates will be responsible for performing inspection, installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting for assigned jobs, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- They will also provide internal and external training sessions on electrical controls, electrical troubleshooting, PLC program writing and troubleshooting, control panel assembly, and basic electrical theory.
- Furthermore, they will be responsible for producing Progress Tracking Reports (PTRs) for assigned jobs and submitting accurate and duly signed Timesheets, Work Reports, Commissioning Checklists, and Customer Satisfaction Survey Forms upon completion of assigned tasks.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in electrical engineering or electronics engineering with a bachelor's degree, coupled with minimum 5 years of experience in marine electrical fields and 3 years of experience in instrumentation and PLC handling and installation.
Additionally, candidates must be proficient in written and oral English communication skills, material take-off and labor estimate for given electrical projects, electrical circuit diagram design, ladder logic programming, technical writing, leadership, coaching, and analytical skills.
