Responsibilities:

1) Daily Teaching

• Supervise students in their daily school work, which includes homework and EL/CL Spelling

• Guide students in their academic learning for English, Mathematics, Chinese & Science

• Ensure students complete their homework everyday

2) Enrichment Programmes

• Plan and conduct fun enrichment activities for school holiday programmes

3) Character Guidance

• Be a good example for students to emulate

• Nurture students and guide them in their character

4) Administration

• Assist the centre with simple administrative work when needed

KEY ROLES:

Develops lesson plans and supplementary materials compatible with the division's basic instructional philosophy, provides individualised and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student and subgroups of students from Year 1 to Year 5 (Primary), and may be given classes for Year 6 to Year 8 (Lower Secondary), wherever appropriate.

Evaluates each student's growth in physical skills, knowledge and contribution in team sports.

Works with other PE Teacher and School Coordinators in planning and implementing a balanced physical education program

Communicates with parents and class teachers on student PE performance.

Analyses, demonstrates, and explains basic skills, knowledge and strategies of formal sports, games, rhythms, and fundamentals of body movement.

Supervises students in out of classroom activities during the assigned working day.

Provides appropriate safety instruction and makes safety checks on equipment and field areas to ensure the overall safety of students.

Evaluates academic and social growth of students, prepares report cards, and keeps appropriate records to include attendance reports, checklists, and other record keeping activities as necessary.

Establishes and maintains standards of student behaviour to provide an orderly, productive environment in the physical education areas.

Has an equitable knowledge content and deliver of the following PE classes:

1) Basketball

2) Badminton

3) Table Tennis

4) Soccer

5) Chess

6) Carrom

Minor tasks involvement:

Performs any other related duties as assigned by the school coordinator.

Participates in various student and parent activities, Open Houses, Reception Days, Admission period more of after-school activities.

Maintains professional competence by attending staff meetings, development programs, adhoc meetings, curriculum development meetings and other professional activities.

Spearheads Annual Sports Day one of the major school events of KKIS.

• Prepares and delivers seminars, in-salon trainings and technical support
• Tests new products Manages complaints and technical hotline to customers
• Supports local PPS, marketing and sales
• Refers sales leads, customer feedback and competitor information to appropriate contacts within the organization
• Provides internal product training to Sales / PPS team
• Contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships that generates future sales and repeated business

Work Location: In person

• Develop high-quality educational materials that meet the Centre's standards.
• Maintain accurate and effective content in all educational materials.
• Mark English compositions and Mathematics/Science papers as required.
• Provide support to classroom teaching when needed.

• A Bachelor Degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience in developing English and Mathematics/Science curriculum, including editing programs.
• Professional certification related to education industry and/or teaching experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in IT tools for online meetings and classes.
• Strong skills in Microsoft applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
