• Engage closely with caregivers in both early intervention programmes and home environments.
• Provide psychotherapy for children with mild emotional difficulties.
• Ensure regular assessment and monitoring of child progress and right-siteing.
• Coordinate transitional planning from one educational setting to another as required.
• Support the setting and achievement of suitable IEP goals, and the generalisation of strategies back into the classroom.
• Support parents to help their child with intervention strategies at home.
• Update and document psychological interventions for children identified in various EI programmes.
• Plan and coordinate psychological services, workshops for Parents/Teachers, etc. as needed.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions for improving services for children identified in various EI programmes with the EIPIC team.

• Provide consultation as needed to EI team in developing conducive learning environments appropriate to the physical, social, and emotional development of students with various learning and developmental needs.

• Supervise practicum students as necessary.
• Attend relevant training and courses.
• Maintain credential of Registered Psychologist (Singapore).
• Regularly attend and contribute to staff meetings, EIPIC and centre meetings, clinical supervision, psychology team meetings, and other meetings as required.
• Participate in events organised or supported by SPD or research projects as assigned.

• A recognised Master's degree in Educational or Clinical Psychology.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) as a Registered Psychologist (Singapore).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships.
• Good organisation and planning skills.
• Familiarity with ordinary preschool curriculum and experience supporting centres in engaging children with special needs.
