Reuters is looking for an Editorial Intern in Singapore. You will work alongside commodities and energy reporters to produce world-class business journalism. Working hours are from Mondays to Fridays, between 9am and 6pm.
The successful candidate is expected to commit to the full period from January to June
Only those based in Singapore and does not require visa sponsorship for full-time internship shall be considered.
About the Role
As an Editorial Intern, you will:
- Gain experience through reporting on a wide variety of commodities markets from oil to agriculture to metals.
- Support other reporting teams including financial markets and general news if time permits.
About You
As an Editorial Intern, you should possess:
- Excellent written English; knowledge of Asian languages preferential
- Comfort with maintaining and using databases to generate data-driven stories
- News judgment, ability to write with speed, clarity and accuracy
