We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile eCommerce Visual Strategist to join our growing team. This is a hybrid creative-strategic role, ideal for someone who can create compelling visual content while also driving digital campaigns across online marketplaces.
The right candidate is someone who understands parents and families, has an eye for aesthetics and brand storytelling, and thrives in fast-paced, e-commerce-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design product images, banners, campaign visuals, infographics, and social media content aligned with brand guidelines.
- Create mobile-first visuals optimized for e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Qoo10, etc.).
- Edit and retouch product photos to highlight key selling points (USPs).
- Develop visuals for email marketing, ads, and landing pages.
Marketplace Optimization:
- Adapt creative materials for multiple platform specifications (e.g., Shopee thumbnail ratios, Lazada homepage banners).
- Regularly update store visuals and product pages to keep them fresh, seasonal, and engaging.
- Work with e-commerce team to A/B test creative for click-through and conversion improvements.
Digital Marketing Support:
- Collaborate on online campaigns such as sales and product launches.
- Assist with writing simple product captions, promotional text, or ad copies.
- Support paid ad creatives across various platforms.
- Help plan and schedule social media content to grow brand visibility and engagement.
Brand Voice & Target Audience Alignment:
- Ensure all creatives reflect the brand's values of trust, family, simplicity, and care for babies, kids, and mothers.
- Design with empathy for the parenting journey, especially for local families in Singapore.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in lifestyle, baby, maternity, or FMCG sectors.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva.
- Familiar with online marketplace tools and backend systems (Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, etc.).
- Working knowledge of digital marketing principles, basic social media strategy, and visual storytelling.
Preferred Attributes:
- A genuine interest in parenting, early childhood products, and lifestyle branding.
- Good eye for color, typography, layout, and user-centric design.
- Ability to manage multiple creative projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Bonus: Basic video editing, GIF creation, or TikTok content familiarity.
- Bonus: Some knowledge of SEO, Meta Ads, or CRM tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp).

With your language, country and cultural perspectives, you can effectively localise policies to deal with country-specific trends, while being aligned with company principles. You have strong research, risk discovery, and critical analysis acumen, and will analyse metrics, surface emergent risks in the market, and drive operational optimisation to improve users' live-shopping experience. Candidates should have experience taking projects from 0 to 1 and are able to drive effective partnerships with cross-functional teams to align on common goals. You have the ability to shuttle from policy to effective implementation, and can make and implement nuanced policy decisions under time-pressure. You should embrace TikTok's Bytestyles.
Responsibilities
1. Research, craft, and implement live-selling content policies that account for the needs of a country while balancing against company principles and goals.
2. Manage go-to-market to ensure effective implementation across Asia Pacific and policy and project outcomes are met.
3. Analyse data to measure, identify, mitigate, and monitor risks to raise the overall ecommerce content ecosystem quality and personalised recommendations. Develop and implement new signals, metrics and engage in risk discovery – to identify new content quality and abuse trends and develop policies to address them.
4. Engage cross-functional stakeholders to consolidate, pre-empt and analyse content and creator pain points; derive and implement action plans and operational workflows to resolve them.
5. Develop, launch and implement new policies and operational workflows – in collaboration with cross-functional teams like Engineering, Operations, Moderation, Product, and Business teams – to enhance large-scale automation, risk detection and mitigation, as well as quality assurance and improvements.
6. Develop and implement feedback loops and operational workflows to ensure the day-to-day quality of launches and implementation.
7. Implement and review dashboards and cases as needed, to ensure day-to-day ecosystem health.
8. Act as an escalation point of contact and manage internal communications on all Ecommerce content policy issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Strong bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as Law, Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Public Policy, Philosophy, PPE etc.
2. Experience leading programmes, doing research, developing and implementing policies.
3. Professional experience in Government, Academia, Strategy or Operations Management Consulting, Platform Governance, Trust and Safety Policy and Operations Management, or Ecommerce Content Strategy, Seller or Product Growth, Risk Analytics, Compliance, or Experience programmes.
4. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to propose complex solutions and explanations in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Driven, excellent programme management and communication skills with the ability to plan for, and manage complex projects, as well as influence multiple cross-functional teams to build and launch new strategies and workflows.
2. Familiarity with e-commerce, social media content landscape and ecosystem management – as well as strategic business sensitivity will be advantageous.
