Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare key commercial control documents such as the Procurement Schedule, Cash Flow Forecast, and Margin Improvement Strategy.

  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier tender submissions.

  • Manage assigned work packages through to final account, including monthly payments and variation handling.

  • Assist the Commercial Lead with internal and client-facing commercial reports.
  • Identify and propose margin improvement strategies.
  • Support administration of the Main Contract and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Help maintain project margins and contribute to the preparation of external valuations.
  • Maintain control over project documents, including drawings and records.
  • Attend project meetings as required.
Completion & Post-Completion Stage
  • Assist in the agreement of final accounts with clients and trade contractors within set timelines.
  • Ensure project close-out, including applying for retention release certificates post-defect rectification.
  • Monitor trade contractor retention releases.
  • Participate in post-mortem project reviews.
  • Attend to client-requested additional works post-completion.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager on trade contractor defects and contra charges, if any.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in commercial construction or interior fit-out (Singapore experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Able to interpret drawings, specs, and tender documents.
  • Proficient in MS Office and QS tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).
  • Good negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
