**Job Title:** Infrastructure Specialist for Unmanned Aerial Systems
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of reliable and secure systems for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Ground Control Systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee and improve infrastructure supporting UAV Ground Control Systems, ensuring high availability and performance in real-time control environments.
- Manage VMware environments, Microsoft and Linux servers, and handle network installation, configuration, and maintenance (L2/L3).
- Configure FortiGate firewalls, including VPN setup and policies, to ensure data security and integrity.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time control environments, providing timely and effective solutions.
**Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years experience in VMware hypervisor, Microsoft OS, AD, DNS, and GPO, Linux system administration, Networking (CCNA level), L2 and L3 protocols, and FortiGate firewall configuration.

From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).
GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.
**Role Overview:**
+ Installation and commissioning of Automatic & Robotics machines in GE Aerospace facilities.
+ Support Engineers to troubleshoot, investigate and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive Safety, Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
+ Write and modify FANUC robot and PC programming.
+ Setup and teach new/additional products/stages in shops.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical operational machines in shops.
+ Data collections/analysis of machine performance in shops.
+ Conduct basic users training in shop.
+ Participate in Kaizen/improvement projects
**The Ideal Candidate:**
+ The ideal candidate has proven 2-3 years hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting (mechanical and electrical) robotics or/and automated equipment in high volume production environment.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Diploma in Mechatronics or related discipline.
+ Minimum Higher NITEC holders with 2-3 years relevant work experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Must be able to work hands-on and work along with all levels
+ Strong problem-solving skills
+ Responsible, accountability and dependable of good work
+ Team player; able to work across functions
+ Able to perform work under relatively stressful environment
+ Knowledge in LEAN Manufacturing is advantages
+ Experience & knowledge in MRO Component Repair process would be an advantage.
+ Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting (mechanical and electrical) robotics or/and automated equipment in high volume production environment.
+ Ability to write/interpret Fanuc/ABB robotics programming or/and PLC programming
+ Good basic functional knowledge of sensors, motors, pneumatic and electrical components commonly used in automated equipment
+ Good understanding of MS-Office application especially MS-Excel
