About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Field Technician to deploy, install, and maintain IoT and LoRaWAN systems at client sites. This hands-on role requires someone who is technically capable, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently in various field environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and install IoT devices and LoRaWAN gateways at client sites according to technical specifications
• Configure and commission wireless sensor networks and ensure proper connectivity
• Perform site surveys to assess installation requirements and signal coverage
• Conduct network troubleshooting and diagnose connectivity issues in the field
• Test and validate system performance post-installation
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and site conditions
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on basic system operations
• Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades as required
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to report issues and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during field work

Education:

• ITE/Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Computer, Telecommunications, or related field)

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in field installation, technical support, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with network equipment or electronic systems installation preferred

Technical Skills:

• Network troubleshooting capabilities (TCP/IP, basic networking concepts)
• Understanding of wireless communication technologies and RF (Radio Frequency) principles
• Knowledge of antenna types, positioning, and signal propagation
• Experience with configuration software and web-based management portals
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools
• Computer literacy and ability to use diagnostic software

• Possess expertise in CCTV, card access systems, and related security technologies.
• Prepare drawings for submission and implementation.
• Handle site activities, coordination, and supervision related to engineering and system design.

About the Role
We’re seeking
Field Technicians
to support a large-scale
mobile scanning capture project
across industrial facilities in Singapore. You’ll be part of a small field team responsible for operating
wearable mobile scanning systems
to collect 3D spatial data in oil and gas or similar environments.
This is a hands‐on, field‐based role that suits someone
physically fit ,
responsible , and
comfortable working in industrial sites . You’ll work under the direction of a
Site Supervisor , following daily capture plans and safety protocols to ensure accurate and consistent data collection.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a
wearable mobile scanning system
(training provided) to capture high‐quality 3D spatial data.
Follow daily work plans and meet assigned data capture objectives.
Conduct basic equipment checks, charging, and maintenance of the scanning unit.
Work safely and efficiently in industrial environments while adhering to safety guidelines.
Communicate effectively with the on‐site supervisor and team members.
Maintain professionalism, consistency, and data integrity in all tasks.
What We’re Looking For
Physically fit and able to perform walking‐based scanning for up to 8 hours a day.
Reliable, self‐motivated, and able to follow instructions closely.
Safety‐conscious with good communication and teamwork skills.
Willing to work on‐site 5–6 days per week.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in
surveying, 3D scanning, or geospatial data capture .
Familiarity with
laser scanning, LiDAR, or dimensional control
work.
Background in
oil & gas ,
marine , or
industrial site
environments.
Possession of valid
safety certifications
such as:
Oil & Petrochemical Safety Orientation Course (OPSOC)
