As a Drama Teacher at our Academy, you will deliver and facilitate drama programs to various age groups based on the Academy’s approved syllabus, teaching methods, and materials. You are expected to maintain high professional standards and actively contribute to the Academy’s educational, creative, and administrative goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Lesson Preparation:
Conduct drama programs for various age groups as prescribed by the Academy.
Prepare lessons thoroughly, adhering to the Academy’s scheme of work, syllabus, and prescribed materials.
Program and Event Support:
Participate in the preparation, setup, and execution of presentations, rehearsals, trial lessons, sample classes, showcases, and events.
Provide support during the planning and implementation of programs and workshops.
Non-Teaching and Administrative Duties:
Engage in planning, research, writing, and development of lessons and programs during non-teaching hours.
Prepare and submit student progress reports in a timely manner.
Perform administrative tasks such as managing schedules, organising resources, filing documents, and maintaining accurate records related to lessons and programs.
Assist in sourcing materials and resources to support program delivery.
Handle correspondence and communications related to the Academy’s educational activities.
Communication and Consultation:
Communicate effectively with current and prospective parents regarding student progress, addressing concerns professionally and with care.
Team and Administrative Support:
Provide coverage for classes when colleagues are absent.
Undertake assignments or duties from the Head of Creatives or administration related to lessons and programs.
Attend meetings, discussions, and briefings as required.
Professional Standards:
Maintain high standards of conduct, discipline, punctuality, and work ethics.
Represent the Academy positively in conduct, delivery, and professional demeanor.
Participate in ad hoc tasks or responsibilities assigned by the Academy.
Requirements:
Experience teaching in kindergarten/elementary settings.
Diploma or degree in Theatre or Drama education is preferred.

Preference will be given to teachers who have relevant subject-specific IB MYP and DP experience, as well as a clear track record of superior teaching in international school settings.
Main Responsibilities:
