What you will be working on
- Implement, procure, administer, develop and manage all tenders, contracts in accordance with safety and budgetary requirements, technical specifications, contract and procurement guidelines to ensure a safe, and timely delivery of used water projects for PUB.
- Prepare projects' tender in accordance to the relevant codes of practice, technical requirements, procurement guidelines and in the best interest and value to PUB.
- Work with consultants and / or contractors closely to coordinate, consult and obtain approval from all relevant stakeholders for the projects' implementation.
- Oversee and monitor construction works closely to ensure adequate safety, services protection, environmental control measures are always in place and regulations are adhere to.
- Resolve technical, construction issues together with consultants and / or contractors to ensure projects progress according to the timeline.
- Assess progress claims, variation works etc in accordance to the contract guidelines, specifications.
- Make budget projections for projects and ensure that the projects' expenditure is able to meet the budget and is within the plan cost.
- Address and resolve public, stakeholders' feedback sensitively and professionally to allow smooth delivery of projects.
What we are looking for
• Bachelor in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of structural and geotechnical analysis
• Knowledge of structural concrete, steel and geotechnical design to Eurocode
• Knowledge of Public Sector Conditions of Contract and experience in the preparation of specifications and other tender documentation for projects preferred
