ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an outstanding Director to lead a portfolio of Partners in the APAC region, based out of Singapore. Our successful candidate will manage and lead a rapidly growing portfolio of Partnerships, along with a team of 4-7 cross-functional resources, including 2-3 direct reports. As a member of the Partner Team Leadership Group you will discuss strategy, share best practices and align on strategic partner plans. You will lead a team accountable for a growing portfolio of 4-8 Partnerships delivering in excess of +$5M in annual Net Revenue.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Reporting to the VP, Partnerships - EMEA & APAC, you will:
• Work with VP to Inform the strategy behind retaining and growing all Partnerships under your leadership within the APAC region, including requirements from Plusgrade shared services - Optimisation, Pricing, Data and Product Development
• Strengthen the relationships we have with key individuals in our Partner organizations
• Lead the development of Strategic Partner Plans on an annual basis
• Set an example for the whole APAC team on how to provide exceptional support and service to our Partners
• Develop and progress a pipeline of new business opportunities across your portfolio that align to Plusgrade’s long term strategy and that of our Partners
• Articulate Partners vision and programme goals to support and influence Points’ product and marketing roadmaps
• Mentor, manage and develop 2-3 direct reports
• Work closely with the VP on all contract negotiations, securing outcomes that deliver growth and stability in alignment to our corporate goals
• Represent the APAC region to support important company projects managed by different stakeholders
YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:
• 5+ years in a client management / business development role
• 3+ years leading and developing and coaching multiple direct reports
• Strong communication skills are essential in gaining trust and respect of internal and external Sr. leaders
• Requirement to maintain multiple senior external relationships
• Exceptional presentation skills in content creation and delivery
• Proven track record of exceeding financial targets, including new business development
• Ability to lead complex, multi-million dollar, negotiations and translating contractual outcomes to executive stakeholders
• Extensive leadership & coaching experience directly and indirectly
• Ability to apply critical thinking to complex situations in order to arrive at an optimal outcome
• Commitment for extensive International travel to meet with your Partners (approx 10x/yr)
• For internal candidates, several years of exceeding expectations financially and otherwise in Director capacity
• External candidates must have experience working for an international organisation
• Chinese language is very much a desired requirement
