The role will be part of the Market Platforms strategy team to drive measurable results through impactful thought leadership campaigns. The role will act as a lead Comms advisor supporting senior executives and our businesses in the APAC region.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Singapore/Hong Kong following a hybrid work model setup.

What You Will Do
Drive awareness and thought leadership of Nasdaq Financial Technology Division.
Support the promotion of business milestones, product launches, and subject matter experts by generating earned media coverage.
Build credibility and profile in key areas including trading, regulation, financial technology, risk management and more.
Develop creative, newsworthy, and impactful media campaigns featuring our expertise and solutions.
Maintain and build relationships with key media outlets, journalists and influencers.
Proactively engage with media outlets and journalists for story ideas.
Write and review communications materials including press releases, pitches, social media copies and thought leadership content published on social and owned platforms.
Arrange, facilitate, and manage media briefings with key spokespeople on all speaking engagements.
Collaborate with internal collaborators across several functional areas on campaigns, product launches, client wins, and achievements.
What We Expect
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, public affairs, journalism, or a related field
7+ years of corporate communications experience
Experience in working directly with media
Knowledge in financial services and technology media landscape
Proven ability to create and implement comprehensive media and thought leadership programs that support Nasdaq’s brand and overall business objectives
Excellent writing and editing skills, including the ability to write scripts and talking points for internal and external audiences
Critical thinking, judgment, and sound decision, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to run multiple initiatives simultaneously while working with a cross-section of colleagues
Ability and experience to work independently while collaborating with teams globally.
Strong experience in issue management and crisis communications.
