The candidate should be capable of securing extramural funding and teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Main duties and responsibilities- Establish an independent, externally funded research program in radiology and imaging sciences.

To maintain a high level of service quality at the reception and appointment hotline /call centre and to assist the DDR Manager and the Nurse Clinician in the daily running of DDR. To maintain a high level of service quality to patients and to ensure continuous improvement to work processes.
- To receive and greet patients at various reception areas in DDR
- To register patient manually or electronically on SAP and RIS
- To print out patients’ labels, queue and time chits for appointments.
- To handle all image duplication in DVDs/CDs and/or Radiological Reports in accordance to PDPA Act
- To schedule appointments for outpatients and inpatients in accordance to scheduling rules set by DDR
- To receive and sort out request forms from Wards/SOC for vetting by Radiographers and/or Radiologists
- To offer simple financial advice on estimated procedure costs and service redirection of patients for financial assistance and counselling
- To maintain and manage the reception areas in terms of stocking of stationery, relevant patient information sheets, presentation and cleanliness
- To troubleshoot and manage cash machine for automatic payments
- To handle manual cash payments and other relevant billing issues such as Medisave, drop charges, modification of charges, refunds or exam cancellations
- To perform simple crowd-control and manage waiting times
- To reduce no-show rates and communicate need for rescheduling to patients or next-of-kin
- To manage patients during down-time as per Supervisor’s instructions e.g. rescheduling of appointments
- To attend to telephone calls, fax and other enquiries from various sources
- To participate in corporate events when necessary, especially those relevant in service quality
- To undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, Radiographers and Nurses
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma OR GCE 'N/O/A/NITEC/ITE' Levels or WSQ Certificate in Healthcare (Admin Support)
- Prior Experience in patient service in Hospital settings is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in healthcare settings will be advantage
- Skilled in relevant Radiology IT systems such as RIS/PACS, SAP, EPIC will be an advantage
- Skilled in Microsoft Office programmes such as Word and Excel

How to Succeed
- Possess NITEC in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
- Previous experience in acute care hospital, especially in radiology department is an added advantage.
