To develop, manage, and support T&J's range of wiring accessories and control systems, including sockets, switches, room control units, and thermostats. The role provides technical expertise and product management support to internal teams and customers, ensuring products meet market requirements, quality standards, and performance expectations.

MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Product Management & Technical Support
· Provide technical and product management support to Sales and Marketing teams in project pursuits and product selection.
· Support Customer Service in handling technical enquiries to ensure prompt and accurate responses.
· Prepare and maintain product documentation such as catalogues, data sheets, technical memos, and test certifications.
· Ensure product test reports and certificates are valid and properly filed.
· Conduct internal and external product training sessions when required.
· Assist in annual warehouse stock-take activities.
2. Product Development & Engineering Solutions
· Develop and improve system solutions (hardware, firmware, and software) relevant to current market needs, including RCU and thermostat systems.
· Build demo kits or mock-up units to showcase system capabilities to customers and partners.
· Coordinate with factories and suppliers on new product development and technical improvements.
· Perform product failure analysis, generate fault reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
· Conduct product verification, burn-in, and accelerated life tests to ensure reliability and compliance.
· Support sales teams (including joint ventures) with engineering drawings, configurations, and technical proposals.
· Contribute to continuous product improvement and innovation initiatives.
3. IT & System Support
Provide internal IT support related to Email, WFH laptops, VPN, VNC, and File Servers.

+ Development of lab scale prototypes, producing pilot plans for both beverage-based parts and final products.

+ Performs chemical analyses using instrumental methods to determine the composition of samples and prepares samples and sampling plan for ingredients, intermediate or finished products, or other materials in order to perform analyses.
+ Writes detailed & accurate reports for analyses, experiments, or projects. Gathers and organizes information under tight timelines to support senior management's decision-making.
+ Participates in team projects, cross-functional committees, or company-wide initiatives to share information, represent the department/division perspective or assist with product development, process modification, package development and marketing.
+ Works on product development projects assigned by line manager from idea generation to formula finalization through close discussion and alignment with Technical and Marketing team and all other stakeholders.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering or related field is required. Master's degree is preferred.
+ Possess 2-5 years of successful experience and knowledge of product development in FMCG Industry, preferably in food and beverage.
+ Preferred product development experience in beverage categories including food ingredients, flavors, concentrates and beverage bases.
+ Basic knowledge of the organic chemistry of essential oils and other flavor compounds that is relevant to Company products along with the basic knowledge and ability to apply flavor manufacturing and the processes used such as distillation, extraction, and blending are needed.
+ Must possess knowledge of key ingredients used in production of flavors, concentrates and beverage bases.

Job Description
Consumer Product Development is responsible for the product development and management of all individual life, health and personal lines consumer products for the company. This includes Investment-Linked Policy (ILP) funds and Third-Party Products.
This role will manage the individual Protection and Health (P&H) (Life/Non-Par) product development and management, including Third-Party P&H (Life/Non-Par) products.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Individual Life/Non-Par P&H product development and management aligned to company strategy.
- Input into the Life product fund strategy.
- Responsible for the management of third-party Life/Non-Par P&H products including due diligence, onboarding, ongoing review and offboarding, liaison with Third-Party Life product manufacturers.
- To co-lead, conform to and evolve the Product Development Policies and Process of the company.
- To drive, contribute to the agenda and present at CBE Product/Product Management Committee, eg P&H product updates, different stages of P&H product approvals, ie Stage 1, Stage 2, post-launch reviews.
- Implementation of new P&H products, and product -related changes through and with the support of Product Implementation Work Group (PIWG).
- Ongoing review of P&H products to ensure they continue to be fit-for-purpose with the support of the Actuarial Team (AT), Claims, Underwriting and other functions as required.
- To identify, assess, manage, mitigate and monitor the risks associated with P&H product development and management.
- To ensure all P&H product-related regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
- Coaching and personal development of the P&H product team.
- Working collaboratively internally with PIWG, Marketing, Strategic Communications, Brand, Distribution, Pricing, Actuarial, Finance, Operations, IT, Risk and Compliance etc to accomplish company objectives.
- Working collaboratively with external parties, as needed, to move the company agenda forward, eg reinsurers, consultants, third-party Life product manufacturers etc.
- To be a key contact as appropriate with MAS, CPF, LIA, MOH, Ministry of Finance, Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation Limited (SDIC) etc.
To participate, represent and present at company or external events on P&H products as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of product management/actuarial experience.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Strong local knowledge of Singapore market, competitors/products, regulations.
- Capability to build strong professional working relationships with regulators and other industry bodies (MAS, CPF, MOH, LIA, SDIC etc) and navigate the necessary regulatory processes.
- Proven experience in influencing and aligning other functions to meet product development/ management goals and timelines.
- Strong business relationships/ partnerships with reinsurers, fund houses, all distribution channels (eg agents, FAs, banks etc).
