Our client is a prominent organization headquartered in Singapore, in the consumer and services sector. They are undergoing a period of transformation and are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the Workforce Strategy and Organization Design team. The successful candidate will serve as a key internal consultant, driving organizational change and contributing to the company's longer-term workforce strategy.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of Talent, you will lead and support a range of organization development and workforce planning projects. These include organization design, job redesign, headcount and manpower planning, as well as capability development. You will work closely with business leaders and HR partners to develop data-backed proposals and present strategic recommendations through well-crafted presentation decks.

The role involves working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, often in a consultative capacity, and demands the confidence and credibility to challenge thinking and drive alignment. You will also be expected to guide and coach more junior members of the team, helping to build internal capability in organization design and planning. You will require strong project management across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. It will also involve collaboration with other HR functions, using workforce analytics and internal dashboards to support leadership in decision-making.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in Organisation Development, Workforce Planning, or Strategic HR. A background in management consulting or internal consulting within a large, complex organisation is highly desirable - particularly experience involving organisation redesign, job evaluation, change management, or other large-scale transformation initiatives. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills are essential. This includes the ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations and strategy decks that inform and influence key decisions. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities are required.

A degree in Organisational Psychology, OBHR, Business, or a related field is required. Postgraduate qualifications or certifications in OD, workforce analytics, or strategic HR will be advantageous. Experience in coaching junior team members and contributing to capability development within the OD function is a plus, as is prior involvement in enterprise-wide transformation projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

    Synthesise needs from Product, Engineering, and Marketing into comprehensive design deliverables, ensuring design is front-of-mind throughout the product development process

    Work through design problems from beginning to end: translating research insights into ideas that form disruptive new products and features, then designing the workflows and detailed interactions to realize them

    Support the product development process with wireframes, user flows, journey maps, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and evaluative research

    Partner with cross-functional peers within Product and Engineering in Asia and internationally to define initiatives and create thoughtful solutions—representing design and being the voice for the user throughout the product lifecycle

    Collaborate closely with UX Research, UX Writing, Brand, and Product leadership to shape the overall design vision of your area of ownership

    Consistently elevate the quality of the design by soliciting feedback from peers and stakeholders through formal Design Reviews, presentations and by facilitating design thinking workshops

    Mentor other designers throughout the organization on craft, quality, experience, and processes.

    Work with data, whether qualitative or quantitative to make informed design decisions

What We Look For In You

    At least 8 years of experience in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX Design, or related fields, with people management experience.

    Strong communication skills with a proven ability to articulate ideas and advocate for design decisions.

    Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and Researchers.

    A deep understanding of design-critical thinking and user-centered design methodologies, ensuring products offer intuitive and trustworthy experiences.

    Results-oriented and adaptable to change.

    A thorough understanding of experimentation and research techniques, capable of validating designs independently.

  • A good eye for design with a diverse portfolio of your design works throughout your career.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Design Lead to spearhead Mantle’s product design team and oversee the design strategy for core ecosystem products, including the mETH Protocol , Rewards Station , and the Mantle Website .

In this role, you will lead a globally distributed team of designers, set the standard for Mantle’s design practices, and collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure a unified, user-first design language across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership :

    • Manage and mentor a team of three product designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

    • Drive professional development for the design team and ensure alignment with Mantle’s goals.

  • Design Strategy :

    • Develop and execute design strategies for both new and existing products.

    • Identify opportunities to improve user experiences and implement solutions effectively.

    • Collaborate closely with the Ecosystem Product Lead to devise strategies that boost product appeal, engagement, and conversion rates.

    • Partner with the communications design team to support go-to-market strategies.

  • Design Consistency :

    • Unify the design language across all Mantle products to deliver a seamless and consistent user experience.

    • Advocate for and implement best practices in design systems and UX strategy.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration :

    • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and ecosystem partners to align design efforts with business objectives.

    • Represent the product design team in discussions with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

Required

  • Proven Leadership : Minimum of 7 years of experience in product design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Crypto Expertise : Past experience in designing crypto products, with a strong understanding of blockchain technologies and user behavior.

    • Good-to-have: Candidate is a crypto native

  • UX & Design Systems : Demonstrated ability to create, manage, and scale design systems and UX strategies.

Role Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Design Lead to manage and empower our design team responsible for a critical division of the company

Primary Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Collaborate with product managers to define and scope design requirements for upcoming projects.
  • Develop lean design project plans to identify challenges, estimate effort, and ensure that there's time for all needed phases of high quality design work, like research, brainstorming, and user testing.
  • Manage project timelines and performance to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
  • Conduct retrospectives to optimize team performance continuously.
  • Work closely with engineers and engineering leaders to make sure they are involved in critical moments of the design process, then ensure a smooth handoff.

Design Craft

  • Research, understand, and advocate for user needs in all stages of product development.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, design system team) to explore and deliver innovative design solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end user experience design across desktop, mobile web, and apps.
  • Collaborate hands-on with your designers throughout their projects, contributing your expertise in UX methodologies to every aspect of their work.
  • Develop in-depth domain knowledge of spend management in order to see the big picture and unite the work your team is doing.

People Management

  • Lead a team of product designers and provide mentorship to help them grow their skills.
  • Provide concrete, actionable feedback to your team members, helping them navigate stakeholder feedback to achieve the highest quality results.
  • Support growth in their craft through coaching

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 6 years as a UX/Product designer with expertise in desktop web, mobile web, and native app experiences.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring designers (2+ years).
  • Portfolio: Strong work demonstrating complex systems, multi-channel user journeys, and intricate object relationships.
  • Skills: Proficiency in UX methods (generative research, information architecture, interaction design, user testing) and system-level thinking.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator capable of articulating design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Proven track record of project management and delivery in fast-paced environments.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in startup environments with ambiguous project scopes.
