Job Description
As a Structural Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the work of modellers and drafters. This involves coordinating with offshore and onshore teams to ensure that all designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and manage the work of modellers and drafters.
- Provide information and coordinate with the offshore and onshore team.
- Coordinate with other disciplines coordinators to ensure models and drawings are in-line.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and verify consultants' design drawings and translate them into shop drawings.
- Monitor and manage the design process schedule, ensuring timely submission of shop drawings in accordance with the Master Program.
- Review and add value to designs/specifications/drawings before issuances.
- Coordinate with the BIM Manager on BIM presentations, clash detection reports, ICE meeting schedules, and related requirements.
- Oversee site work progress, monitor shop drawing progress, and provide support to the construction team.
- Ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards of all shop drawings.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Information (RFI) to consultants when necessary.
- To prepare the issuance of Site Design Amendments (SDA).
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Structure or Architecture, or its equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of BIM Requirements in Singapore standard is a plus.
- Proficient in Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD - for drawing linkage and cleanup.
- A team player with a sense of responsibility.
