• Design and optimization of material handling systems (baggage handling, parcels handling, cargo facilities) and logistics systems including conveyor system designs, steelworks, layout plans, equipment design, and fabrication.
• Coordinate with internal team members, project management, customers and suppliers for design and calculation, component selection, manufacturing, purchase and assembly.
• Analyze customer design proposals, specifications and manuals to evaluate design requirements.
• Prepare mechanical design drawings and specifications for submissions, coordinate and follow up on all submissions till final project completion.
• Prepare fabrication detail drawings, schedules, evaluate alternatives, and handle reports in accordance with applicable standards where necessary.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Min 2 years of working experience with mechanical design; experience in baggage or material handling system design is preferable.

• Proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD, Navisworks and Microsoft Office software applications.
• Experience with REVIT software is preferable.
• Strong knowledge of materials properties and applications, fabrication methods.
• Demonstrate interest in baggage handling projects and complex systems.
