- Execute fixing procedures to determine structured deal payoffs.
- Monitor valuation/expiration/barrier knocks for potential payouts.
- Reconcile nostro accounts and general ledgers, manage failed trades, and reconcile trade positions between T&M risk systems and other bank deposit systems.
- Configure instruments/indices.
- Create structured product calculators as a secondary control check.
Requirements
- Preferably Degree holder in Banking and Finance/ Accounting
- Minimum 3 years of banking/accounting/ tax experience, specifically in the equity derivatives operations
- Product knowledge of Cash Equities in global markets, plain and exotic equity / index option and share borrowing and lending
- Experience in various back-office operation functions which includes processing, reconciliations, settlements etc
- Good understanding of the end-to-end transaction management processes, predominantly in Structured products
- Knowledge in Funding and SWIFT MT540, MT541, MT542, MT543, MT202
- Ability to use MS Excel (and Excel macros), MS Access or VBA.
- Ability to work with large data sets
- Relevant knowledge of IRC Section 871(m) regulations will be an added advantage

Derivatives Support Officer

The incumbent will be responsible for the post-execution support of new and existing Equities and rates derivative products, ensuring timely and accurate capture of trades into Bank of Singapore core banking risk system. - Perform independent assessment of lifecycle events and reconcile against counterparties

Collateral management
- Reconcile and manage BOS cash collateral with counterparties

Documentation and Reconciliation
- Perform validation on long form ISDA confirmation for FX derivatives and Equities derivatives products received from counterparties against our trade booking in T24 core system
- Liaise with counterparties/internal stakeholders for any trade discrepancies
- Daily update tracker and monitoring of non-receipt of confirmation from counterparties and escalation where applicable
- Update weekly control report to ensure our documentation control aligned with KRI
Change Management
- Identify control gaps and work with team to review process efficiency and deliver improvements
- Participate in project deliveries and UAT where nominated by line manager
Ad Hoc
Manage any ad hoc assignments delegated by line manager
Who you are
- 3 to 5 years experience in Private Bank Operations, especially in the area of Equities Settlements or Equity Derivatives role.
- Clear written & verbal communication skills with all stakeholders, including Dealers, Front Office, and other support divisions
- Ability to work and deliver effectively under time pressure
- Working knowledge on industry platforms like Temenos or Triresolve is preferred

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
One years' work experience in oil trading industry or in a similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
Good drafting and verbal communication skills
Fluency in both English and Mandarin
